There are certain characters that inspire a special level of passion. And of the many characters in the X-men mythos, few inspire the kind of passion generated by Emma Frost. She’s a character that has undergone many changes and transformations throughout the history of X-men. I’ve had her go through more than a few here in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Just like the X-men comics, I introduced Emma Frost during the X-men Supreme Phoenix Saga. She played a critical role in luring Jean Grey into the clutches of the Inner Circle. While it was later revealed that Emma Frost did not do this of her own volition, it highlights some of the core themes about her character.
Emma Frost, in her many incarnations, has often been at the mercy of moral ambiguity. She comes from a world of wealth and privilege. She trained herself to navigate these morally ambiguous areas to get ahead. There have been times when this has made her an enemy of the X-men. As the White Queen, she was once the X-men’s most daunting psychic foe. But Emma Frost is not someone who lets herself get lost in these morally gray areas. She never lets herself become like Sebastian Shaw, Selene, or Sinister. She’s never let herself become a girl scout either. And that’s one of the major appeals of her character.
When it comes to fighting the kinds of battles that the X-men fight, it’s not always possible to be completely moral and completely ethical. There are many in the X-men, especially Professor Xavier, who aren’t willing to compromise those ethics to get the job done. Emma Frost, however, is willing. She’s shown this time and again throughout her history in the comics. Over time, she has distanced herself from the devious traditions of the Inner Circle. However, she still maintains a distinctly harsh, yet charming personality that many have come to love.
I’ve done my best to capture that personality in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. That doesn’t just mean giving her the necessary ties to the Inner Circle. Emma Frost has a number of circumstances in X-men Supreme that set her apart from the comics. As I revealed in the X-men Supreme Phoenix Saga, she was an early member of the X-men. Later on in X-men Supreme Issue 99: Escaping Destiny, I revealed that Emma Frost left the Inner Circle when she found out they used her eggs to make clones that Sebastian Shaw called the Stepford Cuckoos. This path has taken her in many directions throughout X-men Supreme, but there’s a lot more to learn about who Emma Frost is.
I’ve been waiting quite a while to do an entry of X-men Supreme Reflections for Emma, as I’m sure her passionate fans have as well. I had to wait because I wanted to make sure the story surrounding the Stepford Cuckoos and her betrayal of the X-men in the Phoenix Saga was explained. These events firmly entrench Emma Frost in that morally gray world that she’s so comfortable in. And even though she’s now the headmaster of the Academy of Tomorrow, she’s still going to have to navigate that world. As always, I’ve prepared a brief preview on the X-men Supreme website and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
Characters like Emma Frost are important for the future of X-men Supreme because she’s one of those characters that fans care deeply about. I want to respect that passion as much as possible. With recent news that Emma Frost will be among the X-men who are MIA after Secret Wars, I want to give her fans something they can enjoy until she returns. That’s why it’s very important for her fans and X-men fans in general to continue to provide feedback on my handling of this fanfiction series. Either contact me directly or post your comments in the issues. I’m always open to feedback. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Throughout the history of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, I’ve tried to create opportunities for certain characters to shine. Major characters like Cyclops, Wolverine, and Storm will always have those opportunities. That’s why I’ve tried to go out of my way to give similar opportunities to characters like Thunderbird, Sage, and Polaris. Now, I’m giving that opportunity to James “Warpath” Proudstar. He’s not going to get that opportunity in the current X-men comics. He will get this opportunity in X-men Supreme.
Warpath has been a part of X-men Supreme for quite some time now. I introduced him as the muscle behind Emma Frost’s road to redemption after the events of the Phoenix Saga. I have hinted at his history on some occasions. The only time I’ve really touched on it is X-men Supreme Issue 104: School Daze where I reveal he has a less than stellar record with the X-men and mutants as a whole. He’s someone who has made his share of mistakes in life. For a time, he was an adversary of the X-men and some haven’t forgotten about that. But like Wolverine and Emma Frost, he’s getting an opportunity for redemption, albeit due to tragedy.
The events of the Dark Legacy arc have shaken Warpath’s world in a way few things can. In this battle, for which he played a pivotal role, his brother, Thunderbird, died. In the aftermath, he freely admits that Thunderbird was the better warrior. He did the right thing when he had the opportunity. He joined the X-men, trained them to become the heroes they became, and gave his life to save a world that was at Sinister’s mercy. This leaves Warpath in a vulnerable and uncertain position.
I have major plans for Warpath in X-men Supreme Volume 6. But before any of those plans can unfold, it’s important to dig a little deeper into who Warpath is in the context of X-men Supreme. His journey to this pivotal point in his life where he’s coping with Thunderbird’s death was not an easy one. By knowing that journey, I believe everyone will appreciate the story that unfolds in the next phase of X-men Supreme. That’s exactly what I hope to accomplish with the latest entry of X-men Supreme Reflections.
There are still plenty of opportunities for plenty of characters in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Given the breadth of the X-men mythos, it’s impossible to cover every one of them. However, I’ll still make the effort. That I can promise. With every character that plays a part in X-men Supreme, I’m determined to do them justice. I know there’s a lot of love and passion for the X-men. I want to make sure that every character I explore, including Warpath, respects those feelings. To do that, it’s very important that I get feedback for this and the rest of the X-men Supreme mythos. Either contact me directly or post your feedback directly in the issue. Either way is fine. I’m always happy to chat and listen to constructive criticism. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Throughout the history of X-men, there have been characters that have had the potential to be awesome, but not the opportunity. Oftentimes, those characters are stuck in the shadows of others. It used to be that characters like Jubilee and X-23 were indelibly linked to Wolverine’s story. Over time, they managed to branch out and thrive on their own accord. X-23 has just started that process in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. In Marvel’s ongoing X-men comics, she’s taking it a step further by taking on Wolverine’s mantel. Characters like X-23 are proof that it is possible for one character to emerge from the shadow of another.
One character in particular has been stuck time and again, both in Marvel’s X-men comics and in X-men Supreme. Back in X-men Supreme Issue 31: Memory Musings, I established a place for Thunderbird in this fanfiction series. His story unfolded in new directions that he never got a chance to in the comics. He was the one who trained the X-men. He helped them become what they are. However, he was unable to do this for his younger brother, Warpath. Now, like it or not, Warpath must carry on Thunderbird’s legacy in X-men Supreme.
In the comics, Warpath is one of those characters who only occasionally shows up and never gets a chance to develop. He hasn’t had a lot of chances in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series either. He first showed up in X-men Supreme Issue 71: Election Day as a less-than-willing ally of Emma Frost. Since then, I’ve hinted at bits and pieces of his persona. He’s not quite as honorable or as dutiful as his older brother. He got into his share of trouble, which put him at odds with the X-men. They have good reasons not to trust him. I haven’t had time to explore those reasons. After the death of Thunderbird in X-men Supreme Issue 124: Dark Legacy Part 4, I think it’s important to reveal just who James Proudstar is.
As such, he will be the next focus of X-men Supreme Reflections Volume 5. With the death of his brother, Warpath’s life will never be the same. Even for those who have lost their way, the death of a loved one has a way of putting things back into perspective. This is what Warpath will have to deal with as X-men Supreme continues into Volume 6. However, the burdens of his past will still follow him. I’ll be revealing some of those burdens and explore how they affect him as this fanfiction series unfolds. As always, I’ve prepared a brief preview on this site and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
I know characters like Warpath don’t have the same following as Wolverine or Storm. However, I want as many characters as possible to shine in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. A big part of what makes the X-men great is its ability to help characters shine. It’s what allows characters like X-23, Jubilee, and Gambit to become the icons they are now. And I want to give as many characters as I can a chance to capture that spirit. As always, I strongly urge everybody to provide feedback so I can know that I’m sufficiently capturing that spirit. Either contact me directly or post your feedback right in each issue. Either way is fine and I’m always happy to chat. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

The plan for the next era of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is officially in progress. The story of the X-men in this unique world is set to take many new twists and turns. But before it can move forward, there are some loose ends from the past that I feel need to be resolved. One of the reasons I began X-men Supreme Reflections was because I found it difficult to explore a certain character's persona within the pages of the main X-men Supreme series. I knew when I began X-men Supreme that I wanted to give these characters as much development as I could, but I also knew I had to still tell an awesome story. It's not always possible to do both, but X-men Supreme Reflections gives me a chance.
Numerous characters have gone through many changes throughout the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Characters like Wolverine have uncovered painful secrets about his life in Weapon X and the life he tried to build in Japan. Characters like Cyclops have dealt with conflicts surrounding his brother, Havok, and his numerous romances that eventually led to his current relationship with Jean Grey. And characters like Wanda Maximoff have had to undergo many changes between being Magneto's loyal daughter to being Genosha's leader. Each one of these characters has a personality from the mythos of X-men that I've tried to capture. Fans who like Cyclops, Wolverine, and the Scarlet Witch in the comics should find some familiar traits to enjoy here in X-men Supreme. However, the same can't be said for Jack Freeman.
I waited a long time into the development of X-men Supreme before I introduced an original character that would be unique to this fanfiction series. In fact, I waited until the 75th issues during X-men Supreme Issue 75: Renegade. It was an important moment for me because I understand that people don't read X-men Supreme to see my characters. They read X-men Supreme to read about the X-men. However, I wanted to make Jack Freeman a character who is a major part of the X-men's story. I've seen one too many original characters in fanfiction essentially subvert the story of X-men for the sake of the character. I didn't want that to happen with Jack Freeman. I like to think I've succeeded, but I want to do more with him.
Since his introduction, I've developed Jack a number of ways. I've established that he is not a particularly smart individual and lacks overall social skills, but he is a dedicated and driven young man. He comes from a troubled background. He doesn't have a lot of family ties. The closest thing he has to family is his superior officer, General Nathan Grimshaw. He's also not a big fan of the X-men. In fact, he went out of his way to distance himself from them because he wants to be a soldier first and a mutant last. It puts him in a difficult position in the human/mutant conflict. But there are still a lot of unanswered questions about this character.
I don't expect as many X-men fans to be overly curious about Jack Freeman as they are about other X-men. However, Jack Freeman's story is important to understand for the future of X-men Supreme. He will continue to play a role in this fanfiction series and that role will evolve, along with the rest of the X-men. And with this entry of X-men Supreme Reflections, I hope people will have a better understanding and appreciation for this character. Remember, this is not a character you'll find in Marvel's mainline comics. You can only get him here at X-men Supreme.
The next entry of X-men Supreme Reflections will get back to more familiar characters, but I hope readers will find something to like about Jack Freeman. I don't want him to be a generic original character that detracts from the main narrative. X-men Supreme is still an X-men story at heart. And that's how I want it to remain for however long it continues. But part of making X-men Supreme awesome is knowing when I'm doing something awesome and when I'm not. That's why it's extra important that I get feedback on Jack Freeman and the X-men Supreme fanfiction series as a whole. So please take the time to contact me directly with your feedback or post your comments directly in the issue. Let me know so I can make X-men Supreme more awesome. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

It’s truly official now. The X-men Supreme fanfiction series will continue. The response I got from the conclusion of X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths was overwhelmingly positive. A lot of readers came out and let me know how much they had been enjoying this fanfiction series. Those who had been following X-men Supreme but never reviewed it finally took the time to let me know how much they’ve enjoyed this world I’ve crafted. To those people, I can’t thank you enough. Such support has helped inspire me to keep making X-men Supreme better. I know I left this fanfiction series in a vulnerable state. A lot of that had to do with me making it so I could end the series there if I decided. But that’s not happening. There’s still plenty of story to tell in the world of X-men Supreme.
As I’ve done with previous volumes of this fanfiction series, I’m going to do another entry of the Supreme Reflections mini-series before launching Volume 6. There were a lot of dramatic developments in X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths that affected a lot of characters. But there were some characters that were more affected than others. For all of its 50-year history, X-men has succeed on the strength of its characters. But as over a 100 issues of this fanfiction series has shown me, it’s hard to find time to develop all of them. So a mini-series like Supreme Reflections gives me some time to focus on these characters in a way I couldn’t during the main story.
And the first character I’ll be focusing on is a character that you won’t get to explore anywhere outside of X-men Supreme. Of course, I’m talking about Captain Jack Freeman. He’s one of the handful of original characters I’ve crafted for this fanfiction series. I knew from the beginning of X-men Supreme that I would be making a few characters to call my own, but I understand that the appeal of X-men Supreme would be the more established characters. That’s why I waited so long until X-men Supreme Issue 75: Renegade to introduce him. I don’t expect him to be anyone’s favorite, but I wanted him and General Nathan Grimshaw to act as a catalyst in this fanfiction series. They won’t dominate the plot, as a lot of OCs tend to do in fanfiction. But they will be part of the struggle.
For Captain Freeman, that struggle has taken on dimensions his training as a Green Beret never prepared him for. He hasn’t exactly been on the same page as the X-men or General Grimshaw at times. He’s very much a character who is uncertain of his place in the human/mutant conflict. He wants to be a soldier first and a mutant second, but that’s not always possible. He represents the part of the mutant population who doesn’t want to be defined by his mutant status. But at the same time, he struggles to avoid it. He admits he’s not very smart and he is prone to making the wrong decisions. And yes, he will have a major role in X-men Supreme Volume 6.
But who is Jack Freeman? Where did he come from and how did he get to be like this? I haven’t had a chance to really dig deeply into his world. That’s what I’ll be doing with the first entry of X-men Supreme Reflections Volume 5. This story will give readers a better understanding of who Jack Freeman is and why he’s struggles the way he does. His story is one that’s going to have some major implications later on in this fanfiction series so you won’t want to miss this. As always, I’ve prepared a brief preview on this website and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
Once again, I’d like to thank everybody for their support of this fanfiction series. I still have some big ideas I want to explore moving forward. Once this entry of X-men Supreme Reflections has concluded, I’ll make some announcements on X-men Supreme Volume 6 and its release schedule. Like I said before, it may be different this time. But no matter how it comes out, I’m going to try and make it as awesome as possible. And part of that process involves getting feedback from readers. So please take the time to continue providing feedback for this fanfiction series. Either contact me directly or post it in each individual issue. Either way is fine. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Another volume of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series comes to an end today. As I have with previous volumes, I try to make it so that this era of X-men Supreme ends with a major shift. That shift usually entails a profound change in the conflict between humans and mutants, one that has major implications for Charles Xavier’s dream of peaceful coexistence. And after the events of the Dark Legacy arc, I don’t think the change facing the X-men could be more profound.
The world of X-men Supreme will never be the same. I know Marvel says that all the time after a major event or relaunch. But unlike Marvel, the changes in this fanfiction series will carry a lot of weight. There will be no time travel, retcons, or alternate universes to undo the damage done by the events of Dark Legacy, the Phoenix Saga, Overlord, or Uprising. These events are entrenched in the history of X-men Supreme and they’ll affect the very future of the X-men. That also means the death of Thunderbird, who succumbed to the Legacy Virus during the Dark Legacy arc, will not be undone. He will not rise again like Jean Grey has done in the comics. His death and that of the 300 million other people who died will stick.
How does a world even recover from a catastrophe on this scale? Mankind has endured wars, plagues, and natural disasters for centuries. However, it has never endured anything like this. The Legacy Virus was Sinister’s ultimate endgame, a method for him to get what he wanted regardless of how many lives it cost. It’s an endgame that left humans and mutants alike equally devastated. For the many conflicts the X-men face in both X-men Supreme and in the comics, they often struggle with those that effect either mutants or humans. For once, both sides were affected. Sinister even made sure of it. Every world leader from President Kelly to Wanda Maximoff on Genosha have to deal with this same trauma. It has the potential to bring the world together, if only for a while. It also will leave this world very vulnerable.
There have already been a number of instances in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series where a tragedy was exploited. Sebastian Shaw exploited his history with Emma Frost to make her betray the X-men in the Phoenix Saga. Then Senator Kelly exploited the events of Uprising and Overlord to run for President of the United States. Even General Grimshaw used his knowledge of Weapon X’s devious history to earn the trust of Charles Xavier and the X-men. With so many reeling from the Legacy Virus, who will rise up and exploit this moment of vulnerability for humans and mutants alike? All will be answered, at least in part, with the final issue of X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths.
With the conclusion of this era of X-men Supreme, I’ve made my final decision on the future of this fanfiction series. I know I’ve been saying for a while now that this could be the final volume of X-men Supreme. I’m still somewhat disappointed with the lack of feedback in recent times, but there are still those who support this fanfiction series. And I still have a desire to keep exploring this unique world of X-men that I’ve conjured. At the same time, I also have a desire to pursue other projects. So with that, I’d like to make a few announcements.
First and foremost, X-men Supreme will not be ending with the conclusion of Volume 5. It will continue. And just as I have with previous volumes of this fanfiction series, I will craft another entry of X-men Supreme Reflections. I also intend to do another one-shot afterwards. But after that, there will be an X-men Supreme Volume 6. However, I will not be updating this iteration of X-men Supreme with the same regularity as I have. Ever since this fanfiction series began, I’ve been very strict about updating on a biweekly basis. This schedule is difficult to keep due to the scope and scale of this fanfiction series. As a result, I will be adding more time in between updates to ensure that I have time to pursue other projects.
However, this decision is subject to change. If feedback increases, I am willing to change the update schedule for X-men Supreme. That means you, the readers, have the power to determine how this fanfiction series unfolds. Doing so means providing feedback on this series. Talk about the characters, the events, the relationships, or anything else that I’ve explored in X-men Supreme. I’m happy to hear it all. Either post it directly in the issue or contact me directly. Either way is fine. But for now, X-men Supreme’s schedule will change. I will announce more details in the coming weeks. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

The world of X-men Supreme has been devastated. Over 300 million people are dead. Millions more are in a state of shock and horror. The Dark Legacy arc may be over, but the destruction it has wrought is on a scale that’s difficult to imagine. When Sinister unleashed his Legacy Virus, he didn’t care how many died. He didn’t care how many suffered. Humans and mutant alike were all equally vulnerable because they all had something he wanted. In the end, the X-men made sure he didn’t get it. But the damage has been done.
As with the previous volumes of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, I made sure the final arc is a major event with a major impact. Previous arcs like Overlord and Uprising create upheaval the nature of the conflict that the X-men face in their pursuit of Charles Xavier’s dream. That upheaval is usually caused by the actions of their enemies, like Magneto. However, the X-men have never faced upheaval like the kind Sinister unleashed with the Legacy Virus. This goes beyond Charles Xavier’s dream and strikes at the very foundations of the world they try to protect. It ensures the world of X-men Supreme will be very different moving forward for the X-men.
In moving forward, the X-men will have to deal with one of the few major deaths I’ve carried out in this fanfiction series. Back in X-men Supreme Issue 31: Memory Musings, I told the story of John Proudstar’s role in this fanfiction series. I gave him a role far greater than the one he briefly had in the X-men Comics. He wasn’t just another strong mutant who could add muscle to the team. He was the one who trained the X-men and taught them how to fight. In addition, he was Jean Grey’s first lover. His place in the X-men within this fanfiction series is much more personal. That makes his death at the hands of the Legacy Virus in X-men Supreme Issue 124: Dark Legacy Part 4 much more powerful.
Thunderbird joins the over 300 million other deaths that the Legacy Virus has claimed. While the X-men were able to prevent millions more, thanks to the bold and reckless efforts of Charles Xavier, the world is still traumatized. Humans and mutants alike will need time to heal and time to mourn their dead. When tragedies on such a large scale strike, it has a way of making every superficial difference seem more trivial. In some ways it will bring humans and mutants closer together. But in others, it will make them vulnerable for the next upheaval. From Genosha to the White House, everyone is vulnerable. So what kind of world will emerge from the ashes?
That world will start to take shape in the final issue of X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths. Like Overlord and Uprising before it, the X-men will work with allies like President Kelly, General Grimshaw, and Wanda Maximoff to chart a course forward. At the same time, they’ll have to contend with the losses they’ve suffered. For a brief moment, they’ll stand together to soak in this tragedy. But don’t expect that moment to last long. As always, I’ve prepared a brief preview on this site and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
I’m determined to end X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths on a strong note. I’m treating it as another critical turning point in the unfolding story that is X-men Supreme. At the same time, I’m going to leave room to make it the final entry in this fanfiction series. However, I am not currently leaning towards such a course. There’s still more story I want to tell. And if I do decide to continue X-men Supreme, I’ll make it official after the final issue for X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths is posted. I’m still somewhat disappointed by the lack of feedback, but I’m still encouraged by the extent to which some have followed this fanfiction series and I hope to continue doing so. To all those who want to see more of X-men Supreme, please feel free to contact me at any time. I’m always happy to chat. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Today is a solemn yet defining moment for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. The Dark Legacy arc is about to end. The death and destruction unleashed by Sinister and his Legacy Virus will be complete. The world the X-men fight to protect will never be the same. There will be losses. Charles Xavier will have some difficult and solemn decisions to make. Some will be deeply scarred in profound ways. In every case, the X-men and the world as a whole will have to pick up the pieces. The question remains what kind of world will emerge in X-men Supreme in wake of so much destruction?
The aftermath of a catastrophe can often be every bit as impactful as the catastrophe itself. After a major natural disaster or a national tragedy, the bonds and identity of a society are often tested. We find out just how unified and strong they are. We also find out who is in a position to exploit the situation. X-men Supreme established a fragile yet functional peace between human and mutant factions. The situation after the events of the Cambrian Explosion made both sides feel vulnerable. Magneto came dangerously close to exploiting it again, but he also gave the X-men and General Grimshaw the foundation they needed to craft this peace.
Now after the death and destruction caused by Sinister’s Legacy Virus, what will this mean for General Grimshaw’s Mutant Security Agency? What will this mean for President Kelly’s often tenuous policy on mutants? And what will this mean for the Scarlet Witch and the rest of Genosha? There are a lot of potential conflicts to consider, but there’s one important detail that may unite them. The Legacy Virus affected them all equally. Like real diseases, it doesn’t care who is a minority and who is in power. Every side of the conflict will be weakened, including the X-men. It’s the extent of the losses that will establish the new status quo for this fanfiction series.
Beyond the global and geopolitical implications, there are also some personal impacts. The extent of all those impacts will be revealed in the final issue of this game-changing arc. Few will feel that impact more than Charles Xavier. In X-men Supreme, I’ve given him some very human flaws. Being the world’s most powerful telepath isn’t his greatest challenge. It’s his health. It nearly killed him before, requiring alien intervention from the Shi’ar to survive. Now it’s about to be pushed in ways that will have a profound impact on the function of the X-men moving forward.
There are so many impacts and so many emotions to reveal. In terms of the big picture, the Dark Legacy arc will cause some of the greatest upheavals the X-men Supreme fanfiction series has endured to date. Nobody will escape its effects. Charles Xavier, General Grimshaw, President Kelly, Wanda Maximoff, and everyone in between will be struck. And as I said before, there will be losses and those losses will hit the X-men hard. The scope and scale of Sinister’s madness will finally be revealed in this issue and the world of X-men Supreme will never be the same.
I can’t overstate how monumental this arc is for the larger context of this fanfiction series. There are personal implications for characters like Wolverine and Charles Xavier. There are pragmatic implications with how the X-men function in this new world. These are all stories I still want to explore, but the lack of response I’ve gotten from readers has made it difficult to put sufficient energy into that exploration.
There are still those who continue to support this fanfiction series and for those people, I thank you. I’d love to hear from more people. I put a lot of time and energy into this fanfiction series and I want to make it as awesome as possible. I can’t do that without feedback. Either contact me directly or post your comments directly in the issue. Either way is fine. Next week, I’ll make an announcement on the future of this series. But the decision I make is still subject to change, depending on feedback. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Some of the X-men’s most defining moments have come in the face of a terrible loss. Major stories like the Phoenix Saga and Days of Future Past became iconic because of the impact that such a loss had on the X-men. There have been losses in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Professor Charles Xavier lost his first real student in Kevin McTaggart during the Proteus arc. It was a deeply personal loss that hit him and his X-men hard at a time when they were already vulnerable. Now, as the events of X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths has unfolded, the X-men face a new kind of vulnerability. And this time, the losses will be much greater.
It’s always a risk, having characters endure a loss of some kind. The X-men have lost plenty over the years in the comics. The deaths of Charles Xavier, Jean Grey, and most recently Wolverine are just among the few. However, I’m of the opinion that Marvel goes overboard with this at times and I’m not just talking about the tendency for characters to come back to life. I think resurrecting characters is nowhere near as demeaning to a story than an overly callous plot. The death of Jean Grey in the Phoenix Saga was an intensely emotional moment for the X-men. That’s what made it so powerful. Jean Grey’s eventual resurrection didn’t change that. And if the X-men are going to suffer losses in X-men Supreme, I want it to be just as powerful.
At times, I’ve been overly careful with this fanfiction series. I write X-men Supreme with the assumption that the characters are the most valuable components of the story. So I’ve avoided some of the shock tactics that Marvel has been employing with stories like the Death of Wolverine. But for an arc like Dark Legacy, I can’t afford to be that careful anymore. This is an arc that is reshaping the way the world of X-men Supreme functions and it’s doing so under the weight of a terrifying atrocity by Sinister. Like any atrocity, there will be casualties.
So with the final issue of Dark Legacy on the horizon, I’m comfortable announcing that a character will die in this story. This death will have a significant impact. It will profoundly affect the X-men and a few other supporting characters that, for spoiler reasons, I cannot identify. I can only say that the millions of deaths caused by the Legacy Virus will take an emotional toll on many characters. Some will end up losing more than others. This will not be the same as the death of Wolverine or even the death of Jean Grey in the Phoenix Saga. This will be a shared loss within a story that has had many. As always, I’ve prepared a brief preview on this website and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
I understand that many comic fans are somewhat desensitized to character deaths these days. As soon as Marvel or DC Comics kill a major character, the countdown until their inevitable return begins. That’s not going to be the case here with X-men Supreme. This death will stick. In the same way I avoid using time travel and parallel universes, I will avoid callous resurrections for the same reason I avoid callous deaths. This fanfiction series is entering a dark period in its history, but it’ll also be a defining period. As such, it’s very important that others provide feedback so I know I’m doing the right things with the X-men. Some have been very generous with their comments. I’d like to hear more like them. Please feel free to contact me any time or post comments in the individual issues. I’m always happy to talk X-men or comics in general. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Whenever a horrific atrocity is committed, an equally horrific justification is often given for it. There have been numerous atrocities and would-be atrocities throughout the history of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. There’s no doubt that Weapon X was an atrocity from the beginning. It tormented and abused the likes of Wolverine, X-23, Fantomex, and Mystique in ways that leave them scarred to this day. Magneto has come close to a few atrocities as well in X-men Supreme, coming so close as to incur an extinction event in the Overlord arc. In every case, Magneto and Weapon X made excuses for their atrocities. It was up to the X-men to stop them. In numerous instances, they succeeded before the situation could escalate a certain point. However, they are way past that point in the Dark Legacy arc.
The world of X-men Supreme has already been ravaged in ways that go beyond humans, mutants, and the X-men. Sinister’s Legacy Virus has killed millions and infected millions more. Within the span of a week, the entire world of X-men Supreme is facing a pandemic of apocalyptic proportions. Losses are mounting all over the world. Governments can’t do anything. Mutants can’t do anything. Even the X-men can’t do anything. The damage cannot be undone. It can only be mitigated. However Dark Legacy pans out, the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is going to be a very different world when all is said and done. But how can such a cataclysm end?
The X-men are no longer just standing back and lamenting at the death and destruction caused by the Legacy Virus. Thanks to Wolverine’s quest to reunite with his lost love, Rose, they know where Sinister is. They know where they have to go and who they have to attack. However, they’re fighting an enemy in Sinister who isn’t just on a murderous rampage. He still has an agenda and in some sick, twisted way, he believes his agenda is justified. Sinister is still tormented by the loss of Selene in the Civilization No Longer Lost arc, but he’s not at all dissuaded from his vision.
That vision and the horrors it has wrought is about to be revealed. The clock is ticking for the X-men. Everyone from Genosha to President Kelly is relying on them. They need to take down Sinister in order to save what’s left of their world. The emotional and dramatic toll will continue to escalate as it has never escalated before in this fanfiction series. Secrets and lies will finally start to culminate. And everyone, including the X-men, will suffer losses as Sinister’s agenda continues to unfold.
There’s only one issue left in the Dark Legacy arc. Afterwards, the dust can finally start to clear on the new status quo for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. It’ll be a very different world for the X-men, their allies, and even their enemies. It’s a world I want to continue to explore and even with the limited feedback I’ve been getting, I’m inclined to keep going. However, I need to know that I can make this world as awesome as it can be. So please, I urge everyone to take the time to review. Either contact me directly or post your feedback directly in the issue. Either way is fine. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

There are certain points in a conflict where it’s no longer possible to save the day. It’s only possible to save part of it. The X-men have had to make that decision on more than one occasion throughout their tumultuous history. Decisions in events like the Morlock Massacre and House of M often come after plenty of damage has been done. The same has occurred in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series on plenty of occasions. Magneto did a lot of damage when he plunged the world into chaos during Overlord. The Cambrian did the same during the Cambrian Explosion arc. In each case, the X-men couldn’t prevent the damage. They just had to preserve what they could.
In the Dark Legacy arc, the X-men are well past the point of no return. Sinister won the first round decisively. He tricked the X-men, and even his own Marauders, into unleashing the Legacy Virus on an unsuspecting world. Now the X-men, the Brotherhood, and the governments of the world are desperate. Millions are dying. Millions more are suffering. There’s no undoing this damage. Unlike the comics, the X-men will not solve this through time travel or retcons. There will be a significant body count. There will be lasting scars on the world they try desperately to protect. Some of those scars won’t heal anytime soon.
It’s an important distinction that I want this fanfiction series to have compared to the comics. I don’t want big upheavals in X-men to be easily undone or glossed over. I want them to have a genuine impact. I also don’t want that impact the completely undermine the spirit of X-men or the foundation I’ve laid in this fanfiction series. I’ve seen one too many stories in the comics either go way overboard or just give up before exploring the implications. A massive global pandemic like this should have an impact on the X-men, mutants, and humanity as a whole. However, this crisis is coming dangerously close to an extinction-level event.
The only way the X-men have any hope of saving what’s left of their world is to confront Sinister. Right now, the only lead they have has come courtesy of Wolverine, who is fighting a very different and very personal battle. That personal battle has already affected the course of this conflict. Sinister’s revelation to Mystique about her former life as Rose helped forge a connection that will put Wolverine, the X-men, and Sinister on a collision course. If the X-men lose, then they lose so much more than a battle. The stakes truly couldn’t be higher. The Dark Legacy arc and its impact will reverberate throughout the entire fanfiction series. That I can guarantee. As always, I’ve prepared a brief preview of the next issue on this website and on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
The end of X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths is near. The end of the X-men fanfiction series may be near as well, but I’ve yet to decide. If it does continue, it will have to be in a more limited capacity. However, that could very well change depending on the feedback I get. I know X-men Supreme has become massive series over the course of five years. It’s hard to catch up with. But I work long and hard to make sure it’s accessible to X-men fans of all ages. And to ensure that work bears fruit, it’s important that I continue to get feedback. Please send it to me directly via email or post your comments directly in the issue. Either way is fine. I’m always happy to chat. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

When a big storm hits, the initial onslaught does the most damage. Every enemy the X-men face has to make their first punch count. In the early days of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants made it count when they bested the X-men on their first encounter. Enemies like Weapon X made it count as well, but were unable to do enough damage to prevent their defeat. Time and again, the X-men have been knocked down hard. They’ve been on the ropes with events like Overlord and the Cambrian Explosion. However, they’ve never been hit this hard.
Sinister’s first blow was devastating on a level that the X-men never could’ve anticipated. The initial onslaught of the storm was released in the first issue of Dark Legacy, but the damage is still unfolding. The scope and scale of Sinister’s most devious creation, the Legacy Virus, is still emerging. The X-men have already felt some of the effects. Shadowcat, Psylocke, and Beast were infected in the aftermath of their defeat. They are now suffering the debilitating symptoms of the Legacy Virus. The damage to the X-men has been done, but it isn’t just the X-men who will suffer.
Sinister didn’t release the Legacy Virus just to hurt the X-men. His vision is much bigger. It’s a vision that has been unfolding in many ways since he first made his presence known in Sinister Intent. His vision has not always been clear. He’s been very careful to keep his agenda and his plans secret. But after losing Selene in the Civilization No Longer Lost arc, he no longer cares about being careful. He’s ready to unleash the Legacy Virus all over the world. The true nature of his plan has yet to be revealed, but the damage is about to become painfully apparent.
The Dark Legacy arc is about to enter the worst part of the initial onslaught in this storm. The X-men usually go out of their way to make sure that their activities and those of their enemies do not affect the rest of the world. In X-men Supreme and in the comics, they usually place a high priority on not letting innocent humans get hurt. But this time, the X-men have failed. Innocent humans and innocent mutants are going to suffer this time. The extent of that suffering will be at the center of this storm as it unfolds in the next issue of the Dark Legacy arc.
This fanfiction series is entering a dark yet fragile time. The world of X-men Supreme is changing radically. The mission of the X-men and the world they’re trying to protect will not be the same at the conclusion of this arc. The world that emerges will be the foundation for the future of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, if there is one. However, I’m still not sure how far that future will go. I’ve been disappointed by the lack of feedback lately. I know the scope and scale of X-men Supreme has gotten so big that it’s hard to keep up at times. But I’m working long and hard to make sure it’s still awesome and accessible. And I can’t succeed if people don’t take the time to provide me feedback. Either contact me directly or post your comments directly in the issue. Either way is fine and I’m always happy to chat. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

It’s a dangerous time in X-men Supreme. A tragedy of massive proportions is beginning to unfold. Sinister has won. He outsmarted the X-men, releasing his Legacy Virus onto an unsuspecting world. This act and the consequences from it will change the X-men Supreme fanfiction series in a profound way. It’s a change that will be emotional, dramatic, and even tragic. Some of the X-men’s most defining moments have been built around tragedy and atrocity. This fateful event will do both for X-men Supreme.
This isn’t the first time the X-men have lost against one of their enemies. It’s easy to forget that for all their triumphs, the X-men lost their fight against the Brotherhood of Mutants in their first encounter back in X-men Supreme Volume 1: Mutant Revolution. The X-men have always endured more upheaval in defeat than they have in victory. Defeat has shaped the course of their struggle, both in the comics and in X-men Supreme. It was defeat that led to Jean Grey’s death in the comics during the original Phoenix Saga. It was defeat at the hands of the Black Queen that put Amanda Sefton in a coma in X-men Supreme. In every case, the X-men have been able to adapt and keep fighting. This case, however, is different.
The Legacy Virus won’t just affect the X-men or mutants in general. Sinister created this virus to affect everyone. After losing Selene in Civilization No Longer Lost, he’s abandoned any and all sense of subtlety and tact. He no longer cares who gets hurt in his endless quest to create the ultimate mutation. It’s something that isn’t often explored in the comics. The X-men face many villains who will attack and hurt mutants. However, the impact is rarely felt by humanity as a whole. Humans and mutants inhabit the same planet. That’s why the X-men are so dedicated to protecting it. This time, humans and mutants alike will share in the devastation.
It has happened all throughout history. Plague and tragedy don’t care if someone is a minority. They hurt and scar people all the same. I always felt the way the Legacy Virus was used in the X-men comics was somewhat incomplete. It did lead to tragedy and loss, namely with the death of Colossus. But it never went beyond that. It never felt like a real plague. In X-men Supreme, the Legacy Virus is an entirely different menace. For once, humans and mutants are going to share in the horror equally. And it’ll still be up to the X-men to stop it. The upheaval will continue as the Dark Legacy arc unfolds. As always, I’ve posted a brief preview on this website and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
Make no mistake. This arc will create more than upheaval. In any great tragedy, there is always great loss. The X-men have already endured losses, such as the death of Kevin McTaggart in the Proteus arc. But the losses in this arc will be much greater. Those losses will change the course of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series if it continues. I know it’s risky when the X-men endure such losses, but it helps give emotional weight to their story in both the comics and in this fanfiction series. For that reason, it’s very important I continue to receive feedback for X-men Supreme. This arc may incur some upsetting developments for fans. I want to hear from those fans and every fan. So please take the time to review or send me your comments. Either contact me directly or post your feedback directly in the issue. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Some conflicts are the result of smaller conflicts that have built and escalated over time. Some are a result of a convergence of various other conflicts that reinforce one another. In the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, I’ve created stories around both types. Magneto’s plot to use an asteroid to destroy the world in Overlord was largely a result of his failures in the Uprising arc. The events of Weapon Plus were primarily a result of Weapon X being defeated and Colonel Wraith seeking to subvert General Grimshaw. However, the conflict in the final arc of X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths is a combination of both.
This is a conflict that begins and ends with Sinister. He’s already done a great deal of damage to the X-men throughout this fanfiction series. Between disrupting Rogue’s powers and tormenting Wolverine with his past, he’s shown that he’s capable of causing the X-men a great deal of pain. However, he’s usually been content to stay in the shadows. He’s not like Magneto in that he seeks a global stage. He rarely causes a conflict that require the X-men to deal with the global impact. That’s been Sinister’s style in both X-men Supreme and the comics. But that changes with this arc.
Sinister is in a dangerous state. Having lost Selene after the events of Civilization No Longer Lost, he is disturbed and unstable. He is so unstable that even his closest allies, Vulcan and Goblin Queen, have shown concern. But nothing can stop him at this point. He’s already set into motion the events that will create the conflict in this arc. And unlike previous arcs involving Sinister, this one will touch every corner of X-men Supreme. His actions will disrupt the very foundation of this fanfiction series. It’ll also lead to some far-reaching consequences that will affect some characters more than others.
Some characters have already felt it. Mystique and Wolverine were the first victims after Sinister revealed that Mystique was actually Rose, the woman that Wolverine once loved. But that revelation was only a pre-cursor. The X-men already know of a conflict brewing involving techno-organic material that went missing from Genosha. That conflict has put them on a collision course with Sinister that will culminate in this arc. X-men Supreme will never be the same and it’ll be all Sinister’s doing. And it begins here.
There’s still a lot I want to do with this fanfiction series, even after this arc. I’m getting closer to making my decision. I have been getting feedback from some very kind readers, but it’s still limited. I’m about to do some very disruptive things with the X-men and it’s something nobody will be able to read in the X-men comics. That’s why it’s so important that I get feedback. I want to make sure that I’m doing this right, creating a world for X-men fans that they can’t get anywhere else. Please take the time to contact me directly or post your comments in the issue. I’m always happy to talk X-men. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

The secret is out. Revelations of all kinds have struck the Marvel Universe through Secret Wars and similar reservations have struck the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. In the comics, Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch are no longer the children of Magneto. Angela is the long lost sister of Thor. In X-men Supreme, Mystique is not just Raven Darkhomle, the infamous shape-shifting enemy of the X-men. She’s Rose, the former lover of Wolverine and another victim in the ever-growing body count that is Weapon X. It’s a tenuous time for both worlds and the world of X-men Supreme is about to reap the consequences. It’s not on the same level as Secret Wars, but it will leave the world in this fanfiction series forever changed.
It all starts and ends with Sinister. After losing his beloved Selene during the events of Civilization No Longer Lost, he is shaken. His ambitions have always been grim, but never like this. Losing Selene has led him to abandon whatever reservations he had left. He’s not just willing to torment the X-men. He’s ready to torment the entire world. He already has the means, having stolen the ruins of the World created by Fantomex. He also has the will, which he demonstrated in the painful revelation he forced on Mystique. Now that intent is about to become destructive in a way the X-men have never faced before.
The world in which the X-men fight for peace and understanding is always changing. This fanfiction series is no exception. Often in the comics, those changes are driven by events involving the Avengers or other superhero teams. But here in X-men Supreme, the changes are driven entirely by the X-men and the allies/enemies around them. That has always been a defining trait for this fanfiction series. I want to keep the focus on the X-men’s struggles. There is still room for classic X-men themes like the Shi’ar and the Phoenix Force, but at its core X-men Supreme is about the mutant struggle.
That struggle is going to gain a major complication with the final arc of X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths. This final arc will once again re-shape the world of X-men Supreme. Like the events of Overlord and Uprising in previous volumes of X-men Supreme, this event will have a significant impact on the X-men and the battles they fight. If this fanfiction series continues, they will face some significant new challenges. And it all starts here with this arc. It might not be on the same level as Secret Wars. But in the world of X-men Supreme, its impact will be felt by all. As always, I’ve prepared a brief preview on this website and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
As I’ve stated before, it is entirely possible that this could be the final volume of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I’m still going to write this final arc with the intention of leaving it open for future volumes. However, feedback on X-men Supreme has still been sluggish. While there are those who have supported this fanfiction series from its inception, the amount of that support has stagnated. I work long and hard to make sure X-men Supreme is sufficiently awesome and I can only know that I’m doing something right of people take the time to provide feedback. Please do so by contacting me directly or posting comments in each issue. I’m always happy to chat, especially after the recent revelations surrounding Mystique. I hope to make a decision by the end of this arc, but the readers of X-men Supreme will have a major influence. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Major revelations have made for many defining stories for the X-men. Some have acted as key turning points in the X-men’s history. The resurrection of Jean Grey, the identity of the third Summers brother, and the many secrets of Wolverine’s past have all triggered dramatic shifts in the narrative of X-men. X-men Supreme has certainly had a few. Sinister’s role in Weapon X, Thunderbird’s history with the X-men, and Emma Frost’s departure from the X-men are all moments that have affected the past, present, and future of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Now, the world of X-men Supreme is poised for a revelation that will have an impact that goes beyond anything I’ve attempted before.
Lately, Marvel Comics has been throwing all sorts of stunning revelations into the mix. They’ve used revelations such as the identity of the new Thor, the heritage of the Maximoff Twins, and the sexuality of Iceman to shake up their world. Some of these revelations have had a positive impact. Some haven’t been very well-received. For others, the impact has yet to be quantified. I don’t doubt that this new revelation in X-men Supreme will trigger a wide range of responses. Some will love it. Some will hate it. Some won’t be sure what to make of it. But there will be little doubt that it will change the fundamental foundations of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series.
This revelation once again comes from the twisted persona of Sinister. This man has already had his hand in some of X-men Supreme’s darkest secrets. He’s never been afraid to use those secrets as leverage to achieve his goals. And after the death of the Black Queen during the Civilization No Longer Lost arc, those goals have become much darker. Once again, he’s going to use these secrets to his benefit. He’s already used his knowledge to exploit the services of Mystique. Now the full price of that service is about to be revealed.
Make no mistake. This issue will trigger some serious upheavals among key characters. It’ll also mark the beginning of the end for X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths. With this revelation, the final conflict will begin. This conflict will reshape the world in which the X-men, their allies, and their enemies will operate. Everyone will be affected. And should this fanfiction series continue, those effects will be profound and far-reaching. So if ever there was an issue of X-men Supreme to not miss, it is this one.
I’m bracing myself for the reactions to this issue. I know there are many kinds of X-men fans who have a wide range of opinions. I’ve even heard a few of those opinions as X-men Supreme has unfolded. I’d like to hear more, especially after this issue. I want to know what you think about the direction of this fanfiction series. I just wrote an issue that completely changes the nature of some key characters and their history. I want to know if I’m making a mistake or if I’ve gotten people excited. Please feel free to contact me at any time or post your feedback directly in the issue. I’m always happy to chat and after this issue, I imagine there will be a lot to talk about. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Exceslior!

Today is a big day for Marvel and it comes after a historic week for X-men. Today, Avengers: Age of Ultron hit the theaters. It's already a worldwide hit, making it a great time to be a Marvel Comics fan. But for X-men fans, the biggest news didn't come from a movie. It came from a major revelation in the pages of All-New X-men #40. In that issue, Marvel revealed that Iceman, one of the original five X-men, is gay. It's a historic announcement that has many X-men fans divided. And before I move forward with X-men Supreme at all, I need to make one thing clear. Iceman in this fanfiction series is straight and I've no intention of changing that. But that doesn't make the revelation in the comics any less historic.
At the same time, I do find it somewhat ironic and fitting that the X-men comics recently had this major revelation because I've been setting a revelation of my own u pin the pages of X-men Supreme. The final arc of X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths is almost here. But before it can begin, there will be a major revelation that will change the landscape of X-men Supreme forever. It's not on the same level as Iceman being homosexual. However, it will fundementally change a major X-men character in a way that cannot be found in the comics. And that revelation involves an old and familiar foe for the X-men, Sinister.
Of all the enemies the X-men face, few are as dangerous as Sinister. He's already abducted Cyclops and Jean Grey, damaged Rogue's powers, revealed the identity of the third Summers brother, employed Madelyne Pryor, and revealed Wolverine's original name. He's done a lot of damage to the X-men in this fanfiction series. He's also caused a lot of heartache. But after losing Selene in the events of Civilization No Longer Lost, he's in a very dangerous state of mind. While in this state, he's going to do something drastic that will cause the X-men and the world of X-men Supreme a lot of pain. The upheavel he causes will be without equal and stopping him will come at a price.
But it all starts with a monumental revelation. I know some X-men fans are still in a state of shock after what Marvel did with Iceman. I hope to make this shock nearly as dramatic. The revelation is going to change the lives of two characters and affect the lives of many others. And it begins in this key issue that will act as a prelude to the final arc of X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths. As always, I've prepared a brief preview on this website and on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
I hope that with the recent events with the X-men comics, X-men fans aren't burned out on major revelations. As I've said before, the revelation here has been building since X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers. I hope to use this moment to set the X-men Supreme fanfiction series apart from the comics, cartoons, and movies. I expect some fans to be upset or skeptical. However, I remain committed to making every character I use in X-men Supreme as awesome as can be. And to keep those characters awesome, it's important that i continue to get feedback from X-men fans of all kinds. Either contact me directly or post your feedback directly in the issue. Either way is fine and I'm always happy to chat. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Exceslior!

The X-men are no strangers to hidden agendas. Some of their greatest adversaries, such as Weapon X, are built around hidden agendas. This holds true in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Sometimes these agendas have to be hidden. When the X-men have two of the most powerful telepaths in the world in Professor Xavier and Jean Grey, they have to hide their secrets. And more often than not, those secrets are hidden for a reason.
This is one of the defining themes of X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths. There are secrets and agendas that have been brewing behind the scenes for a long time now. Some go back to events that took place in X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers. Others go back into the unexplored segments of history that this fanfiction series has yet to reveal. From the moment X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths began, the clock has been ticking on an agenda the X-men can barely begin to understand. Now the final hour is upon them. Revelations that promise to rock the foundation of X-men Supreme are about to emerge.
I know that by exploring these revelations, I’ll be taking a chance with this fanfiction series. I’ll be doing something that’ll once again set it apart from any other medium of X-men. I’ve already made plenty of changes, but they’re hardly risky. Making Juggernaut the nephew of Professor Xavier or making Thunderbird a former lover of Jean Grey doesn’t fundamentally change these characters. What I’m about to do with this final leg of X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths will do so much more.
It begins with an unanswered question involving Weapon Plus. There have already been some uncomfortable revelations concerning Sebastian Shaw and his connection to the techno-organic material that made Fantomex. There are also unanswered questions surrounding Sinister, who recently went out of his way to steal Warlock material from the ruins of the World on Genosha. What is the connection? And what role do the X-men and their allies play? Those questions will finally begin to get answered with this pivotal arc. It’ll also light the spark that will change X-men Supreme forever.
In addition to these powerful revelations, I am continuing to work on updating the bios section. I’m trying my best to catch up so that everyone can be fully informed as X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths nears its end. This time, I’ve given some background to Magma. She made her debut in the Civilizations No Longer Lost arc. I've also crafted an entry for Fantomex, the latest living weapon in the world of X-men Supreme. Both sections should cover some of the details I was not able to reveal during the main story.
Make no mistake. The upcoming revelations in X-men Supreme will be pretty jarring. Some may not like it. Some may be upset. I understand this. X-men fans are as passionate as they come. I am one of them. And everything I do with this fanfiction series is done with the intent to give these characters the respect they deserve. But even for those who don’t like what happens, I want to hear from you. Please take the time to send me your feedback and/or outrage. Either contact me directly or post it in the issue. I’m always happy to chat or debate. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

The X-men Supreme fanfiction series is nearing one of its most critical moments in its five-year history. When this moment manifests, X-men Supreme will firmly set itself apart from any other form of X-men. It’ll have something that has never been seen in the comics, movies, or cartoon. It’ll become something that no other form of X-men has ever become. It’s a moment that has its roots in events going all the way back to X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers. Now all these conflicts and the progression of numerous characters is about to converge in a major way. When all is said and done, the world of X-men Supreme will never be the same.
Now don’t take this to mean that the X-men in this fanfiction series will be unrecognizable. I’ve seen one too many Marvel Comics events that try to change and distort the X-men too much. The same often happens with the Avengers, Spider-Man, and the Fantastic Four. There’s a big difference between changing the direction of a story and distorting the narrative. One is constructive. The other is destructive. I’ve tried to avoid the latter in X-men Supreme. Events like Magneto’s uprising on Genosha, the battle against Weapon X, or the battle against the Cambrian were intended to challenge the X-men into going in new directions. The way they operate changes. The way the team interacts with one another changes. But the fundamental narrative of the X-men does not change.
That’s something I think Marvel loses track of from time to time. That’s something even other comic companies like DC lose track of as well. They try to make heroes like the X-men too different from what they are at their core. I’m going to try and avoid that with X-men Supreme. But this upcoming conflict is going to shake things up in ways that will both shock and intrigue readers. It was set into motion the moment the Black Queen was defeated on Nova Roma. Now it’s about to manifest in a terrifying way.
The architect of this moment is Sinister, one of the X-men’s most devious and dangerous enemies. It could be argued that Sinister is a far more dangerous enemy than someone like Magneto. Whereas Magneto has a greater vision for mutants as a whole, Sinister’s agenda is more obscure. He’s willing to deceive, torment, and manipulate anyone he has to in order to get what he wants. And with the death of the Black Queen, his desires have become much darker. And the X-men are about to find out in a very painful way. The darkest hour of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is set to begin. And as always, I’ve prepared a brief preview here and an extended preview the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
As X-men Supreme nears this pivotal moment, I also want to make sure I offer plenty of content so that the stakes are clear. This means an overdue update for the bios section of the X-men Supreme website. I know it's a section I've negated for a while. There have been a number of characters who have been introduced lately and I haven't kept up with the updates. For this, I apologize and I hope to get things back on track, starting with X-23 and Sage.
X-23 is a character who first showed up in X-men Supreme Issue 97: Uneasy Truce. She then joined the Academy of Tomorrow at the conclusion of the Weapon Plus arc. There's a lot about her life that I haven't been able to explore. The same goes for Sage. The Weapon Plus arc exposed a lot of dark secrets about her life. There were some details I didn't get to explore and I hope this entry in the bios section helps fill in the details.
This is a critical time for X-men Supreme. The outcome of this moment and the response I get (or lack thereof) will determine if I continue this fanfiction series beyond Volume 5. I certainly do have ideas for stories beyond X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Turths. But these stories will explore a very different world for the X-men. And it’s a world I want to make as awesome as possible. So please remember to take the time to provide feedback. I always appreciate input from readers. Either contact me directly or post your comments directly in the issues. Either way is fine and I’m always happy to chat. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

The X-men are overdue for a night off. Admit it, they’ve earned it. They’ve been bombarded with a lot of challenges lately in the world of X-men Supreme. They’ve had to subdue Weapon Plus, thwart Selene’s plans to unlock the hidden power of Nova Roma, contain a prison break led by Toad, and protect a treaty with Genosha that so many seem eager to break. This fanfiction series has never been short of conflicts, but I think everyone deserves a little downtime to catch their breath. And the X-men are no exception.
I’ve used the X-men Supreme fanfiction series to do more than just throw the X-men into action-packed conflicts. I’ve also used it to explore the deeper aspects of their character and personality. It’s a big part of what gives X-men so much appeal. These characters are complex, full of various passions and hopes. I’ve tried to capture this complexity. This includes numerous stories about Wolverine’s past, Mystique’s ever-evolving conflict with Rogue and Nightcrawler, and numerous romantic entanglements such as Cyclops and Jean Grey or Rogue and Gambit. I’ve tried to have every character grow in a unique way and I think that growth is best reflected when the X-men aren’t busy saving the world.
I think the personal moments for these characters help give the X-men the appeal that so many love. And I intend to explore plenty of these moments with this new issue. It is not part of an arc, although it will tie into some of the recent conflicts in this fanfiction series. It’s just a simple one-shot story about the women of the X-men having a girls night together. They’re not looking to fight Sentinels. They’re not looking to solve their unresolved personal issues. They’re not out to get caught up in new romantic entanglements, although that is a distinct possibility for some. They’re just looking to have a good time before the next big conflict consumed the world of X-men Supreme.
It’s hard to find time to fit a story like this into the larger narrative of this fanfiction series. But I think this point in X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths gives me a chance to explore that narrative. There are some personal developments with certain characters that I want to touch on before the next big development in this fanfiction series. And I hope to do so in a way that’s as fun and entertaining as can be without getting Deadpool involved. So for those who want to see the X-men battle the likes of Magneto or Mr. Sinister, you’ll have to wait for another arc. For those who want to see the women of the X-men have a night on the town, this issue is for you.
This was a fun issue to write and one I think adds a little balance to the overall themes in X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths. Those themes are about to take a dramatic turn very soon. Certain characters in this fanfiction series have received extra scrutiny lately. Those characters are about to reach a major turning point. I don’t want to list names, but some of these stories have been unfolding since X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers. There will be a massive pay-off very soon as X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths nears its end. As always, I urge everyone to take the time to provide reviews and feedback for this and every issue of X-men Supreme. Either contact me directly or post it directly in the issue. Either way is fine and any kind of feedback can help me make X-men Supreme as awesome as it can be. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Since I started the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, I’ve done my best to balance the need to inject action and adventure into the story along with drama and character development. One of the qualities that makes X-men so compelling is how the more intimate moments with these characters are explored. They don’t always have to be fighting killer Sentinels, battle Magneto to save the world, or clash with Weapon X. It’s also important to highlight the personal growth of the X-men, especially after a major event.
X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths has thrown a lot of conflicts at the X-men so far. They’ve struggled to maintain a fragile treaty with Genosha, they fought Sinister in the once-hidden kingdom of Nova Roma, and they confronted Fantomex and the Weapon Plus program. They haven’t really had an opportunity to step back and remind themselves what it feels like to be human. That’s an important component of being X-men and I’ve had these share of moments in X-men Supreme. I’ve explored date nights between couples and downtime outside the Xavier Institute. Well now with the end of the Weapon Plus arc, I think the X-men have more than deserved a breather and I intend to give them that in X-men Supreme.
That’s not to say the lingering aftermath of Weapon Plus won’t be addressed. But before X-men Supreme enters another event, I’m going to let the X-men have a little fun. And to do that, the X-women are going to enjoy a badly needed girls night out. They’re going to set aside one night out of a week, hope that Sentinels don’t attack, and use it to enjoy themselves. It’s not a date night and it’s not a night where they have to save the world. They’re just going to be a group of young women enjoying themselves.
Even though X-men deal with many serious matters, there’s always room for a little fun. I feel as though X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths hasn’t had enough fun in it. There’s always room for humor and it doesn’t just have to happen in arcs involving Deadpool. I want this fanfiction series to be balanced. It can be both serious and entertaining and I think giving the X-women a night for themselves will help keep that balance. It’ll also have a few minor developments that will come into play later on in this fanfiction series so it’ll still carry plenty of weight. As always, I’ve prepared a brief preview on this website and on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
In addition, I have another quick update to the pics section. My good friend, Mack, has submitted another wonderful piece for X-men Supreme Issue 68: The Phoenix Saga Part 6. It's another testament to the emotion of that story and one I think he captured wonderfully. Thanks again, Mack!
These intimate moments between the X-men will help add some extra depth before X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths enters the home stretch. The end is in sight and it might end up being the conclusion of this fanfiction series. I still haven’t decided, but I do have plenty to explore with these characters in future volumes of X-men Supreme. And I want to keep those characters sharp and compelling. That’s why it’s so important that readers take the time to provide feedback. Please post your comments directly in the issues or contact me directly. Either way is fine. Any kind of feedback helps inspire me to make this fanfiction series more awesome. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Throughout the history of X-men, there have been cycles of progression and regression. For a time, the X-men seem to make strides in achieving Professor Xavier’s goal of peaceful coexistence between humans and mutants. Then something comes along to undermine that progress. At other times, something comes along to completely divert the X-men’s attention from this goal in the first place. I’ve had the X-men face more than a few distractions in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, but I’ve always tried to give them a sense of progression. I want the X-men to evolve in this fanfiction series in a compelling way. That means dealing with the consequences of a major event.
The Weapon Plus arc was a major event by any measure. It closed another dark chapter in the history of Weapon X, an enemy that has already done a great deal of damage in the world of X-men Supreme. This time, it ended with Colonel John Wraith dying at the hands of his latest living weapon, Fantomex. It also ended with Graydon Creed being arrested and Reverend William Stryker going on the run again. It also gave General Grimshaw’s vision for policing mutants with the Mutant Security Agency some much needed credibility in the eyes of President Kelly. However, the damage left by Fantomex will lead to plenty of shifts throughout X-men Supreme.
I intend for those shifts to lead to progress on many fronts. This fanfiction series had guided numerous characters through many upheavals. Even before X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths began, Wolverine faced more upheavals than most. He hit rock bottom after breaking off his relationship with Storm and finding out he had a clone of him running around named X-23. In recent times, he’s been pulling himself back up again. In defeating Weapon Plus, Wolverine is now in a different place with this fanfiction series. His life and that of X-23’s will never be the same.
Other characters also face significant upheavals. Sage finally had to confront her past with Sebastian Shaw, leaving an indelible impact on her relationship with Beast. Rogue crossed paths with Isaac from the Church of Humanity, an organization that will have a major role later on in this fanfiction series. All these upheavals unfold at a time when other threats are still looming. Some of those threats are going to come into play very soon in X-men Supreme and that process continues in this issue.
In addition to the closure and aftermath of the Weapon Plus part, the time had come to give X-23 a place in the pics section. I know I introduced X-23 at the end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear, but I wanted to wait until she established herself in X-men Supreme before I gave her a section of her own. After her battle against Fantomex, I'd say she's more than done enough. She's now a part of the X-women section and I proudly establish a new section for her here on the X-men Supreme official website.
X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths is entering a critical stage. The final conflict for this era of this fanfanfiction series is in sight. As such, the future of X-men Supreme is still in question. I still haven’t decided if I’ll continue. I certainly would like to. I have plenty of ideas for more progress in the world of X-men Supreme. Feedback has been good. Commenters like Bumlinger have been very generous. But I need more feedback to ensure that I’m doing quality work with X-men Supreme. Please take the time to post your comments on this fanfiction series. Either contact me directly or post it directly in the issue. Either way is fine. I’m always willing to chat X-men. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

The X-men have always fought for progress in the face of constant destruction. There are a lot of enemies working against them, human and mutant alike. I've utilized more than a few of those enemies in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Each enemy has done more than their share of destruction. Magneto overthrew an island government and turned it into a mutant nation. Sinister and Selene attempted to usurp the power of Mount Anton in Nova Roma. Graydon Creed attempted to turn a man into a living Sentinel named Bastion to destory all mutants. In each conflict, the X-men stopped the crisis. However, it still left plenty of damage. That damage has changed the course of this fanfiction series at times and the end of the Fantomex conflict will be no exception.
Once again, the X-men had to take on a very cunning enemy. Colonel Wraith, Reverend Stryker, and Graydon Creed aren't like Magneto or Sinister. They don't carry themselves with a larger-than-life persona. They don't try to overthrow the established order either. They try to take it over. Colonel Wraith and Reverend Stryker tried to do just that by creating Weapon Plus. The X-men naturally got caught in the crossfire and not just because of their history with Weapon X either. They made this conflict personal for the X-men because of Fantomex's connection to Sage, Wolverine, and X-23. Old scars were opened. New wounds were created. Some finally began to heal. However, the impact to the world of X-men Supreme will go far beyond personal.
Fantomex did damage on a scale that threatens to disrupt the already-fragile environment within this fanfiction series. One of the major themes in X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths is built around the fragile peace that was created after Magneto's disappearance at the end of the Time Bomb arc. The X-men, President Kelly, and General Grimshaw tried to coordinate with Wanda Maximoff and the Brotherhood of Mutants to forge a new peace between Genosha and the rest of the world. Fantomex completely undermined that peace when he got Genosha involved when for once, Genosha had nothing to do with this conflict.
It's the kind of collatoral damage that will cause more than a few upheavals in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. That damage has to be confronted on both a personal level and in terms of the bigger picture. How will the X-men and General Grimshaw maintain peace when they just gave Genosha a very good reason not to trust them? That's going to be their next challenge as they pick up the pieces from Weapon Plus in the next issue. Once again, I’ve prepared a brief preview here on this website and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
The damage done by the Weapon Plus arc brings X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths closer to its defining moment. That moment has been building for quite some time now, going back to some of the earliest issues of this fanfiction series. I go to great lengths to create a rich, compelling narrative for the X-men. And with arcs like Weapon Plus, it's important I know that work is bearing fruit. So please take the time to provide feedback for X-men Supreme as it unfolds. either contact me directly or post your feedback in the issues. Either way is fine. I'm always happy to chat. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

The stage is set for another monumental battle in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Fantomex, the latest product of Weapon X, has tricked the X-men with his cunning to aid his mission. He now finds himself on Genosha at a time when Genosha is a critical ally for the X-men and the world as a whole. In his desire to become the ultimate living weapon, he intends to use Genosha's Warlock technology to create the World. Its creation will effectively end any hopes of peace between humans and mutants. It could also effectively end Sage's doomed research into techno-orgnaic material in the worst possible way.
There have been a great many X-men stories where many different conflicts converge. The Weapon Plus arc involves many characters and sub-plots, some of which have been unfolding since the Civilization No Longer Lost arc. There's General Grimshaw, Captain Freeman, and President Kelly. There's Colonel Wraith, Reverend William Stryker, and Graydon Creed. There's Sage, Bishop, Jubilee, and the mutants of District X. Even X-23, a character who went out of her way to distance herself from Wolverine and the X-men, is now involved. These are all major players in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. The conflict with Fantomex has touched them all, but its effects will go beyond Weapon X.
When certain stories converge in X-men, it's not always smooth. Some characters get caught in the crossfire who had no desire to be part of this conflict. This has happened a number of times throughout this fanfiction series. Events like the Cambrian Explosion affect characters who had no knowledge of the conflict. In this arc, Genosha and the Brotherhood of Mutants were never involved with Weapon Plus at any point. For once, Wanda Maximoff and the Brotherhood of Mutants did their part. They went along with the X-men and with General Grimshaw in crafting the fragile peace that emerged from Magneto's disappearance after Time Bomb. And because of the X-men and Fantomex's cunning, they stand to lose a great deal.
It's part of the chaos that comes along with the conflict between humans and mutants. The X-men do their best to manage that chaos, but sometimes it's unavoidable. And often times, there's a low margin for error. Throughout X-men Supreme, the Brotherhood of Mutants have failed to do the right thing when given a chance. This time, they actually are the victims in Fantomex's conflict. And because of that, the effect will go beyond the damage. They're now part of this conflict with the X-men. And they'll be part of the aftermath, however it turns out. That conflict finally ends today in the final issue of the Weapon Plus arc. It's an arc that will spark the next round of changes in this fanfiction series.
As the chaos unfolds in X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths, the X-men inch closer to the final conflict that will reshape their world. In every volume of this fanfiction series, there is a moment that shakes the foundation of the X-men and the world they fight to protect. Parts of that moment have been building for quite some time now. Some of those moments began as far back as X-men Supreme Volume 2: War Powers. The conflict with Fantomex will get them closer, but it's just another step in the process. As always, it's very important that I know I'm taking the necessary steps towards making this chaos awesome. Fantomex was a difficult character to write because he's somewhat underdeveloped in the comics. I wanted to make him special here in X-men Supreme. And the only way I know I succeeded is if people take the time to review my work. Either post it directly in the issue or contact me directly. I want to make X-men Supreme as awesome as possible, especially if this ends up being the final volume. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Some of the greatest X-men stories ever told are stories that are emotionally driven. Many of the X-men’s most defining moments have had a powerful emotional impact. The original Phoenix Saga by Chris Claremont is by far the most memorable and well-known. I’ve tried to capture those emotions in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I committed to those emotions while I was writing the X-men Supreme Phoenix Saga. While not every story can have that level of emotional depth, there is plenty of room for that kind of drama in this fanfiction series. And that’s exactly what I’ve tried to do with Weapon Plus.
The seeds of the emotions in this story were planted back during the Civilization No Longer Lost arc. While the rest of the X-men got caught up in the crisis on Nova Roma, Beast and Sage carried out their own personal mission to confront some shadows from Sage’s past as Tessa. It got very emotional at times. Sage admitted that as Tessa, she became intimate with Sebastian Shaw in order to further her own work. It led to an emotionally charged mission and one that set the stage for Weapon Plus. Now the X-men have to deal with a different kind of mission in stopping Fantomex. However, the emotions that Sage dealt with are still raw and now they may end up destroying her.
The Weapon Plus arc wasn’t just my way of introducing Fantomex to the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I saw it as a natural progression from the story that began with Beast and Sage. Their emotions during Civilization No Longer Lost helped give this conflict weight. In the same way the Phoenix Saga emerged from the emotional struggles of Jean Grey, Fantomex is a product of Sage’s emotional journey. They’re inextricably linked in this fanfiction series. That means that the final issue of the Weapon Plus arc will solidify that link in the world of X-men Supreme.
Fantomex has already outsmarted the X-men. He tricked them into taking him to Genosha. He has Sage and Jubilee as prisoners. He’s also armed with a vast array of powers, fueled by the techno-organic material that Sage herself created. He’s already broken free from the whims of Weapon X, but he still seeks to be the ultimate living weapon. It’s going to be up to the X-men and a few unexpected allies to stop Fantomex. The final battle is coming and the emotional stakes are going to be high. The world of X-men Supreme is about to take another turn and it’ll have a major impact on a few key characters. As always, I’ve prepared a brief preview here on this website and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
I admit this has been an unusual challenge. I am not all that fond of Fantomex in the comics. He’s not exactly the most likable character and he doesn’t inspire the same fanbase as Wolverine. But I still want to make him a strong, appealing character in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. One of my goals with X-men Supreme is to give every character a certain level of care and development. And there are so many more characters to explore. Fantomex is just the latest. As I prepare to complete his first story in X-men Supreme, it’s very important that people take the time to provide feedback. I want to make sure my version of Fantomex and every other X-men character is as awesome as possible. So please take the time to provide feedback. Either contact me directly or post it in each issue. I’m always happy to chat. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

The basic goal of the X-men is simple on paper. They fight for peace and understanding in a world that hates and fears them. Even in their most basic conflicts, that goal is difficult. I've explored that difficulty in many ways throughout the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Basic conflicts involving Magneto and the Brotherhood of Mutants were daunting enough. Early on in X-men Supreme, the Brotherhood actually got the better of the X-men at first. Other enemies like Weapon X had similar success. But as the X-men fought on, they overcame these difficulties. They saved the world from a killer asteroid. They even saved it from a cosmic entity in the Phoenix Force. But with success comes more complex conflicts.
Beginning in X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear, the scope of the X-men's conflicts escalated. When Senator Robert Kelly became President of the United States, he made mutants a top priority and the X-men had to be involved. The emergence of new complications like General Grimshaw and Captain Jack Freeman added even greater challenges to the mix. It's not enough to just save the world and show humanity that mutants can be a force for good. The X-men have proven it time and again throughout the comics and the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. It's the growing complexity of these challenges that give their struggle depth. It has helped X-men Supreme evolve. It has now evolved to the point where basic threats like Weapon Plus have far-reaching consequences.
It's no longer enough for the X-men to stop a renegade living weapon like Fantomex. There are larger complexities to consider. The X-men now have to deal witht he Mutant Security Agency, established by General Grimshaw as a means to hold mutants accountable for their actions. They also have to deal with Genosha, which is now under the leadership of the Scarlet Witch. Peace between humans and mutants hinges on maintaining the treaty that has benefited both sides. Fantomex promises to upset that peace in a way the X-men have never had to deal with before.
X-men Supreme has evolved in so many different directions that no conflict is simple anymore. Weapon Plus is the latest conflict that's going to disrupt the world of X-men Supreme in a profound way. It's still personal for characters like Sage, Wolverine, and X-23. However, the bigger picture in this fanfction series cannot be ignored. And now Fantomex is about to scale up his mission in a way that will do a lot of damage and not just in terms of suffering. That mission is going to force the X-men to do a lot more than just stop Fantomex. And that's what this latest issue will reveal.
The X-men Supreme fanfiction series will continue to evolve as these conflicts evolve. I will continue to work hard in making these conflicts as enjoyable and compelling as possible. I'm also very close to making a decision about the future of this fanfiction series. I've been debating on whether X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths will be the end. I still have plenty of stories left to tell, but it still depends on a number of factors. One of those factors is feedback. As always, I strongly encourage everyone who reads this fanfiction series to provide feedback. Either post it directly in the issue or contact me. I'm always happy to chat. I don't care which method you use. Feedback will certainly influence my decision on the future of X-men Supreme. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

There comes a point in every story where the hard choices of the past clash with the hard choices of the present. Throughout the history of X-men Supreme, the X-men have faced plenty of these choices. The choices of Angel's father eventually led to difficult decisions during the Overlord arc. Professor Xavier's choices regarding his cancer nearly killed him in the Starcrossed arc. Many major X-men stories are built around the difficult choices these characters must make or have made. I've tried to capture those elements in this fanfiction series and it's now converging in the Weapon Plus arc.
So far, the choices of characters like Sage, Graydon Creed, and Colonel Wraith have helped create the conflict that is now fueled by Fantomex. In the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, Fantomex is a product of these choices. However, he ends up making some fateful choices of his own that have turned an already volatile situation into something much worse. The concept of Weapon Plus in X-men Supreme is built around fixing the flaws in the predecessors of Weapon X. However, those flaws simply cannot be avoided when the same choices are made. Wolverine and X-23 have had to suffer the consequences of those choices. Now Fantomex is suffering as well, but in a very different way.
The Weapon Plus arc isn't just a converging of many conflicting choices amongst characters like John Wraith and William Stryker. This arc is going to cause some major disruptions in the world of X-men Supreme. Fantomex as a functional living weapon was deadly enough. But as a weapon that has broken free from his creators' control and embraced a much bolder mission, he's become something much more. This fanfiction series has developed many familiar X-men characters in new ways. Fantomex is just the latest.
It's been a challenge because I don't find Fantomex to be a very likable character in the comics. He's one of those characters that X-men fans either hate or tolerate. He's not the kind of character who inspires sympathy or passion. He's not intended to be that kind of character. But in X-men Supreme, I make it a point to give every character a chance to be awesome. That includes characters that I'm not too fond of. And I will continue this effort with this arc and future arcs. Fantomex has a long ways to go before he finds a more respectable place in this fanfiction series, but he's going to make progress. Once again, I’ve prepared a brief preview here and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
I understand that every character has their share of fans. This is especially true of X-men, which has such a long list of iconic characters. Fantomex might not rank very highly on that list, but I still want to treat him with the same care I treat all my characters. For that reason, it's very important that I know I'm doing these characters justice. That's where feedback and reviews come in. It might not seem like a big deal, but they really do make a difference. So please take the time to provide reviews and feedback for X-men Supreme. Either post it in the issues or contact me directly. I'm always happy to chat. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

For many notable characters in X-men, the past often comes back to haunt them. When most people think about a mysterious past and old sins catching up with certain X-men, they think about Wolverine. That's to be expected. Wolverine has a long and jaded history that often goes far beyond the conflicts he experiences with the X-men. I've even tried to capture some of those experiences here in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. To some extent, that is what's happening in the current Weapon Plus arc. However, it's not just Wolverine's past that's doing most of the damage here in X-men Supreme.
Every interesting character has a history that leads to major conflicts. Throughout X-men Supreme, I've had Weapon X be the source of numerous conflicts. They've attempted to abduct the X-men. They've freed Graydon Creed. Now they've turned a wounded soldier into the unstoppable yet unstable Fantomex. In many ways, Weapon Plus is a culmination of X-men Supreme's numerous Weapon X storylines. But one aspect of that story has less to do with Wolverine's past and more to do with that of Sage, who also happens to be Beast's lover.
Sage, or Tessa as she has also been called, is one of those characters I feel has never had a proper history in X-men. There was a time in the comics when she was a prominent figure. She has since faded into obscurity. I wanted her to be a big part of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series because I felt she was a blank slate in some ways. She has all these qualities that could make her a compelling character. Those qualities were just never given an appropriate context. That all changed during the Civilization No Longer Lost arc when Sage revealed her sordid history with Sebastian Shaw and the Inner Circle. That history has now converged with the ongoing conflict that is Weapon X to create the crisis that is Weapon Plus.
It was Sage's research that made Weapon Plus possible. Colonel Wraith, Graydon Creed, and William Stryker just took what she did and exploited it for their own purposes. That makes Fantomex and the conflict surrounding Weapon Plus more personal. And it's this personal aspect to the conflict that is about to take center stage in a big way. What will this mean for Sage, Weapon X, and the X-men? That starts to become clearer with this issue.
It always feels like I'm taking a bit of a risk when I try to develop lesser known characters in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. But I feel like it's a risk that's worth taking. Characters like Sage don't get a lot of attention in the comics. I want X-men Supreme to be that source of X-men that those fans can turn to in order to get the stories they won't get otherwise. That makes ensuring the quality of these stories all the more important. So please take the time to review this and other issues of X-men Supreme. The more feedback I get, the more I can refine this fanfiction series. Either send it to me directly or post your comments directly in the issue. Either way is fine. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Throughout the history of X-men, there have been those attempting to weaponize mutants. It’s a common theme behind some of X-men’s biggest stories and most iconic characters, most notably Wolverine. There have certainly been plenty of attempts in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Weapon X was one of the first foes the X-men encountered during X-men Supreme Volume 1: Mutant Revolution. And while the concept of turning weapons into mutants has left a long trail of blood and death, men like Sinister and John Wraith continue to pursue it.
There is some twisted logic to the concept of weaponizing mutant powers and I’ve tried to capture some of that in my fanfiction series. A mutant is a self-contained unit that can move, react, and operate independently. There’s no need for a pilot or complex and cumbersome computer equipment. They don’t even need to be launched. They just need to be unleashed. Mutants like Wolverine and Sabretooth act as unstoppable killing machines that need only a scent to get the job done. Throughout X-men Supreme, their deadly proficiency has been shown. The problem is control.
This is what Colonel Wraith learned the hard way during Revenge of Weapon X and what Sinister would later learn during The Good, The Bad, The Sinister. Mutants like Wolverine can’t be controlled. Any effort to do so often results in a lot of death and destruction. The X-men have been on the front lines of that conflict on multiple occasions in this fanfiction series. That’s exactly where they find themselves now in this latest arc, Weapon Plus.
This arc marks the official debut of Fantomex in X-men Supreme. Colonel Wraith, with help from Reverend William Stryker and the fugitive Graydon Creed, thought they had solved the problem with controlling living weapons. They stole the techno-organic material created by Sage and used it to turn a once crippled soldier into a killing machine. He was proficient enough to nearly kill Wolverine and X-23, but now Fantomex is about to face some major complications that should serve as yet another harsh reminder for those who pursue the promising power of Weapon X. I’ve prepared a brief preview here and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
Living weapons are one of the many themes I’ve explored in this fanfiction series. There are plenty more I want to explore down the line. However, I have not yet decided whether X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths will be the final entry into this fanfiction series. I have gotten feedback, but it has still been somewhat flat. This fanfiction series takes a lot of time and effort to make sufficiently awesome. I’d like to know if enough people still want to see the fruits of that effort. So please take the time to review and provide feedback. Either post your comments in each issue or contact me directly. Either way is fine. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

It’s been a rough stretch for Wolverine, both in the comics and in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. It’s hard to get much rougher than being killed off in an event, only to have someone like Sabretooth take his place in Uncanny Avengers. But while Wolverine’s story is on hold in the comics, his story is entering a bold new chapter in X-men Supreme. He’s been clawing himself up out of rock bottom since the end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. Now he’s ready to take a much bolder leap and that involves confronting a dangerous new threat in Fantomex.
I set up the Weapon Plus arc with the intent of bringing out the best in Wolverine. Now that he’s dead in the comics, I want to make sure that the X-men Supreme fanfiction series makes an effort to fill the void for Wolverine fans everywhere. And I can think of no better way than to pit him against a powerful enemy that will test his mind, body, and spirit. He’s already had more than his share of tests in X-men Supreme. He’s had to battle Sabretooth, Weapon X, and Mr. Sinister. But Fantomex and the forces of Weapon Plus present a new and unique challenge that can’t be found in any other world outside of X-men Supreme.
When Wolverine confronted Fantomex in X-men Supreme Issue 111: Divine Intervention, it was not a close battle to say the least. Fantomex didn’t just wound Wolverine. He sent him to the brink of death. Fantomex demonstrated a level of skill and efficiency that exposed many of Wolverine’s shortcomings, both as a warrior and as a failed living weapon. In X-men Supreme, I set up Fantomex to be the weapon that Wolverine failed to be in the eyes of Weapon X. So far, he has succeeded. But as we’ve seen with Weapon X in both X-men Supreme and in its sordid history in the comics, its success is very fragile.
That’s what will make the challenges that Wolverine faces in this new arc so daunting. It isn’t so much that Fantomex represents a successful version of the weapon that he almost became. It also represents how daunting that challenge will be if and when that weapon fails. This fanfiction series has shown that Weapon X can be competent enough to free Graydon Creed from prison, but they can also be incompetent enough to let the X-men get the better of them. Now Wolverine, the X-men, and the mysterious X-23 are about to get caught in the crosshairs of Weapon Plus. It’s going to be a major battle for all those involved and one that will have major ramifications for the future of this fanfiction series.
In addition, I have another update from the X-men Supreme Pics section. This time, it comes in the form of a new commission on behalf of X-men Supreme's newest artistic ally, Mack. He has provided another wonderful piece for X-men Supreme Issue 68: The Phoenix Saga Part 6. As always, he did a wonderful job of bringing the piece to life and I thank him for his contributions to X-men Supreme.
This latest arc represents another step towards the biggest upheaval to come in X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths. It’s an event that will shake the foundations of this fanfiction series, but it’s one that has to be set up just right. And since I’m still not certain whether this will be my last volume for X-men Supreme, it’s very important to make sure I get it right. And I can’t know it’s right unless I get feedback from readers. Please take the time to submit your reviews and comments. Either post them directly in the issue or contact me directly. I’m always happy to chat. X-men Supreme will only succeed if I know I’m making it sufficiently awesome. Thanks to all those who have supported this fanfiction series. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

A new threat has emerged from an old foe in X-men Supreme. It's a threat that has attacked the X-men before and left some pretty deep scars. But this threat promises to leave a lot more than scars. It's a culmination of numerous plots that have been unfolding in this fanfiction series for a while now. There are always plenty of immediate threats for the X-men to confront, but there are also plenty of conflicts brewing behind the scenes. It's a common struggle the X-men have faced for years and X-men Supreme is no exception. And this particular struggle carries with it a few familiar names.
While Wolverine might be dead in the comics, his story is still unfolding in the world of X-men Supreme. Not long ago, he had hit rock bottom. He broke up with Storm. Dark revelations about his past emerged, courtesy of Lady Deathstrike. As his spirit lay wounded, he encountered a mysterious girl calling herself X-23 who he finds out is his clone. These struggles have put Wolverine in a difficult place, but he's been gradually fighting his way out of it. Then a new threat named Fantomex nearly ended that struggle. In his X-men Supreme debut, Fantomex made a major impression by nearly killing Wolverine and X-23, wounding and poisoning them to a point where even their healing factor couldn't save them. They fought to recover, but the battle is far from over. And this battle will create the next major arc for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series.
While Wolverine and the X-men have a long list of enemies, few enemies are as devious or subtle as Weapon X. They're not some monster they can attack. They're a weapons program intent on turning mutants into unthinking killing machines. The X-men got their first taste in the Revenge of Weapon X arc. While they were able to win that battle, Weapon X did not go away. It just went into hiding. Under the guidence of the demoted Colonel Wraith, they've been working with the likes of Reverend William Stryker and Graydon Creed to bring Weapon X out of the shadows. They're striking at a time when General Grimshaw's approach to mutants appears to be failing. And Fantomex might be the key to making Weapon X more dangerous than ever.
But who is Fantomex? What is his history in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series? More importantly, what is his future as he and Weapon X clash with the X-men? Those are all questions that will be addressed in this new arc, Weapon Plus. As always, I've prepared a brief preview here and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
There are so many characters throughout the history of X-men. As I've done with many of them, I intend to give Fantomex a unique story in this fanfiction series. His story will help build on the stories surrounding the many other characters I've been developing in X-men Supreme. I began this fanfiction series with the belief that the characters are the ones that drive the story and not the other way around. That's why I make such a big deal about requesting feedback from readers. I need to know if I'm doing these characters right. So please take the time to provide that feedback. Either post it in the issues or contact me directly. I'm always happy to chat. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Winter has arrived and it's as cold outside as it is in the world of X-men Supreme at the moment. In 2014, Wolverine had to face his own mortality in one of Marvel's biggest X-men events in years. He lost that battle. In 2015, Wolverine must face that mortality again in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. It's a battle he can't afford to lose this time. Weapon X has returned. A powerful new weapon has been unleashed in the form of Fantomex. This character has had a complicated history with Marvel since his creation a decade ago. His role will be much less complicated in X-men Supreme. He was able to mortally wound Wolverine and X-23. How can the rest of the X-men possibly hold up?
This marks the first major development in X-men Supreme in 2015. While Wolverine and X-23 will play a prominent role, it won't just be about them. One of the key features of this fanfiction series that I've sought to incorporate since its inception is a sense of cohesion. The events in X-men Supreme can stand on their own from arc to arc, but there are connections within these stories. What's going on with Fantomex and Wolverine isn't just about Weapon X. It has ties to a few other events in recent arcs, some of which unfolded behind the scenes of the Civilization No Longer Lost arc. These connections are vital to the course of the story. And they will also forge new connections to future stories.
Wolverine has often had to face a lot of his battles alone. Throughout the history of X-men, he has been the ultimate loner. But every now and then, he's reminded that he can't always win a battle by himself. This has happened to him already on numerous occassions throughout the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. He dealt with it during the Lotus and the Warrior arc and the Good, the Bad, and the Sinister arc. But this story in particular will give Wolverine more than a lesson in teamwork. It'll change his approach to confronting his many problems that have plagued him throughout X-men Supreme. It's an approach that I hope Wolverine fans appreciate, especially at a time when he's dead in the comics. I hope Wolverine fans will consider this a late Christmas present and one I hope they'll charish in the annuls of X-men Supreme.
Also, now that the holidays are over, I have more time to work on other portions of the site. I know it has been a while since I updated the pics section, but I'm always on the lookout for new pics to add, even during the holidays. I've finally compiled enough to warrant an update. So for those trying to keep warm in the dead of winter, some sexy pictures of the X-women should help keep you warm. Enjoy!
There are so many characters throughout X-men. As such, there are many opportunities to take these characters in bold new directions through the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Wolverine's history as a character has made him a strong presence in X-men Supreme. And since we all know he's not going to stay dead in the comics, I hope that makes X-men Supreme something that can tide Wolverine fans over in the meantime. But there will be other characters who will go in new directions as X-men Supreme continues to unfold. I've already done it with characters like Toad. Expect more, especially as this fanfiction series enters a tumultuous time. And in order to keep these new developments as awesome as possible, it's important that I continue to get feedback from readers. Please take the time to post your comments directly in the issue or if you want, just contact me directly and I'll be happy to chat. I don't care which you use so long as you review. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

One of the biggest developments for the X-men in 2014 was the death of Wolverine. Few would argue that the death of Marvel's most iconic X-man is a major upheaval, even though death is somewhat of a revolving door in the comics. It has already lead to some pretty significant changes and more of those changes are set to unfold in 2015. For the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, I have plenty of other changes planned regarding Wolverine. And at the moment, death is a big part of those plans.
A year ago, the idea of stories revolving around death and Wolverine sounded foolish. One of Wolverine's defining characteristics is his ability to heal and survive, often cheating death in ways that few characters not wielding the Phoenix Force can match. He's demonstrated these characteristics throughout X-men Supreme. He's also demonstrated how they can be a burden on him, especially during the later parts of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. Wolverine has had a long, eventful life full of struggle, loss, and regret. Him having to live on as others around him die helped make him one of the most iconic characters in X-men. I made it a point to capture that status in X-men Supreme. His arrival was the first mission the X-men carried out in X-men Supreme. Now, even as Wolverine's death in the comics is still sinking in, he's about to come face-to-face with death itself in this fanfiction series.
Once again, the shadow of Weapon X have reared its ugly head. A new incarnation of this diabolical program has emerged in Fantomex, a character who has made his mark in the comics in the past decade. His debut in X-men Supreme will leave quite a mark as well. In many ways, it already has. His first act in this fanfiction series involved mortally wounding Wolverine and X-23. He didn't just best them in combat. He poisoned them so that their healing abilities could not save them. Now Wolverine and X-23 lay at death's door and it's up to the X-men to save him. It's a dark moment for the team and for Wolverine. But I intend for it to be one of his defining moments in this fanfiction series. As always, I've prepared a brief preview here and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
At the moment, Marvel Comics has decided to take Wolverine out of the picture for a while and let other characters fill the void. It's a big void to fill and one that may or may not pan out in the long run, given the revolving door of death in comics. But his death in the comics presents a good opportunity for X-men Supreme. At the moment, there are no comics or mediums in which Wolverine's story can continue. X-men Supreme is the only game in town. So for Wolverine fans, I have extra incentive to make his journey in this fanfiction series more awesome. As such, it's very important that his fans and all X-men fans provide feedback. I'm always happy to chat. Please contact me directly or post your comments in each issue. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!
January 2nd, 2015
It's a brand new year for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. It's a time of big change and major upheaval. It's also a brand new year for Marvel and they're going to have a lot going on with the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron and Secret Wars. It's going to be tough for X-men Supreme to measure up, but I have every intention of making this fanfiction series as exciting as can be for 2015. And it starts today on the second day of this new year.
One of the major appeals I've crafted with X-men Supreme is the use and development of characters that are either dead, in limbo, or so horribly portrayed that they might as well be dead. One of the biggest events Marvel conjured in 2014 was the death of Wolverine. By far the most popular X-men character of all time, Wolverine is one of the most important characters in the history of comics. As such, I've made him a vital part of X-men Supreme. So while characters like him, Professor Charles Xavier, and an adult Jean Grey are dead in the comics, they're alive and in a position to thrive here in X-men Supreme. Wolverine's story might be over in the comics for the time being, but it's about to take a huge turn in this fanfiction series.
Wolverine and the rest of the X-men are now hot on the trail of Toad, who led a prison break at Forth Leavenworth in X-men Supreme Issue 110: Supreme Justice. Having such a predatory nature, Wolverine is in a good position to find this renegade mutant. However, he's about to find a lot more than he bargained for. And while he and the X-men are searching for Toad, another development has emerged from the ashes of Weapon X. It's a development that will take Wolverine in a bold new direction while reintroducing a few other conflicts I began at the end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. And it starts today with the first issue of X-men Supreme in 2015. I hope it's the beginning of a very productive year for Wolverine and all the X-men.
Characters like Wolverine, who are killed off in the comics in a big event, are often a product of a desire to shake things up. I understand that from a business perspective. But for X-men Supreme, I am committed to doing more with these characters beyond just shaking up the status quo. There have been many developmings throughout this fanfiction series and they haven't involved killing major characters. I hope to continue that tradition because at this point, there aren't any Marvel comics coming out that have Wolverine playing a major role. It's a situation I never thought would happen, but it's put X-men Supreme in a position to be a special outlet for Wolverine fans until he returns. That makes feedback and reviews all the more important, especially from Wolverine fans. I'm always eager to hear from my readers in hopes of making X-men Supreme more awesome. So please, Wolverine fans and non-Wolverine fans alike, take the time to review this fanfiction series. Either post it directly in the issue or contact me directly. I'm always happy to chat. Happy New Year and until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!
December 26th, 2014
Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. I hope I can add one last-minute gift from the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. It's an exciting time in X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths. It's also a dangerous time for the X-men, some more than others. The already-fragile peace established by the Genosha treaty has started to crack. When Professor Xavier met with General Nathan Grimshaw to assess how justice is being administered to mutants arrested by the Mutant Security Agency, he saw a lot of room for improvement. He also saw a new threat emerge in Toad, the former member of the Brotherhood of Mutants who had a reputation for being weak and inept. Well he's not weak and inept anymore. The Cambrian has made him powerful and he now has a new team of mutants burned by injustice. The X-men must now face the possibility of a new threat that will trigger a new round of conflict.
But as this bigger conflict is unfolding in the world of X-men Supreme, there are still numerous personal conflicts that have yet to be resolved. One such conflict involves Wolverine. Ever since he ended his romantic relationship with Storm, he's unstable to say the least. And it only got worse when he found out he had a clone running around who only went by the designation, X-23. He tried searching for her, but he came up with nothing. Professor Xavier and his fellow X-men helped him pull himself together again and gave him new duties on Genosha. However, he has not forgotten about X-23 or the conflict that led to her.
When X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths began, there were certain goals I wanted to accomplish. I've already succeeded to some degree, but the main goal is in the name itself. There are hidden truths in this fanfiction series that have been buried since it began. Now some of those truths are about to be revealed. But revealing those truths will require sacrifice and struggle from the X-men. They've already got a new conflict on their hands with Toad. But an old conflict involving Wolverine is about to enter the picture. The next issue will set the stage for the first of many revelations. As always, I've prepared a brief preview here and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
Expect these revelations to lead to some significant changes in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. The X-men comics have already been dealing with such revelations with characters like Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch. While I don't intend these revelations to be quite that extreme, I do expect them to generate a few reactions. Some may be good. Some may be bad. Whichever they are, I want to hear from them. I want to know how X-men fans feel about the changes I make in X-men Supreme as these revelations hit. So please take the time to post your feedback in the latest issues or contact me directly. I'm always happy to chat about X-men or comics in general. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Throughout the history of X-men, there are plenty of noteworthy villains. Magneto, Sinister, and the Inner Circle are among the most famous. These characters have a lot of history. Whenever the X-men try to protect this world that hates and fears them, they often give them their greatest challenges. They often do this with a team of their own and many times, those teammates get lost in the spectacle. Throughout the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, Magneto has employed a diverse team of mutants in his Brotherhood of Mutants. Some have grown beyond their role. Quicksilver, Havok, and the Scarlet Witch are probably the most notable. But some of the other supporting characters of these major villains rarely rise above their role. Well with X-men Supreme, I intend to do something different and it's something that will probably never be seen in the X-men comics, cartoons, or movies.
Of all the characters who rarely rise above a supporting role in X-men, Toad is the lowest rung of that ladder. He has often been the butt of many jokes, teased and taunted relentlessly for being among the weakest members of the Brotherhood of Mutants. Whenever they battle the X-men, he is usually the first to succumb. There are characters like this throughout comics and X-men has had plenty of them, but few are on the same level as Toad. So I've decided to make Toad the centerpiece of a new upheaval in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series.
It sounds crazy on paper, making Toad a bigger villain. But that's exactly why I want to do it. And I'm not going to make it a gimmick either. I've already set it up. Back during the Test Subject arc, Toad was arrested and put in prison for breaking into a Worthington Industries lab. But during the events of The Cambrian Explosion arc, he was exposed to a piece of the Cambrian. That exposure had a reaction. And now that reaction is about to manifest in a terrifying new way that will create a daunting new threat for the X-men. And at a time when justice is at a premium in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, the timing couldn't be better. In this issue, a new threat will be born and Toad, as in the same Toad that so many have cast off, will be the leader.
I understand this is a bold and somewhat strange move for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I also understand it comes with risk. But I'm willing to take those risks if it gives X-men Supreme a more unique and special appeal. We've seen Marvel take risks in their stories. However, I think those risks have been restricted to killing major characters, bringing dead characters back to life, and turning some characters into villains. I find that too simplistic. I want to do something else with X-men Supreme. That's why it's so important for others to review and provide feedback for this fanfiction series. That way I know if these risks are paying off. So please, as I say every week, take the time to review and post feedback for X-men Supreme. Either post it in the issues or contact me directly. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

What do the X-men do after they stop a threat like Sinister and Selene? How do the X-men even process confronting such an overwhelming danger that involves magic, lost cities, and ancient relics? These are questions the X-men often have to answer in the comics and cartoons as well whenever they take on mystical foes. There are no easy answers, but these are the kinds of challenges the X-men thrust themselves into as heroes. In X-men Supreme, that role has evolved as the events of this fanfiction series create new situations. The events of Civilization No Longer Lost are now behind them. The X-men must now move forward and that involves dealing with issues that don't pertain to magic.
No matter what or who the X-men face, the core of their mission always comes back to dealing with human/mutant conflicts. It's like an anchor of sorts, a mission that keeps the X-men tied to a certain set of core principles. I've tried to maintain those principles in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, but I haven't made it easy on the X-men. As part of their ongoing effort to improve human/mutant relations, the X-men have been working with General Nathan Grimshaw and President Robert Kelly on forging a new peace. The end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear created a framework for this peace, albeit a fragile one. While it has had numerous benefits, it's still a work-in-progress.
Taking on Sinister and Selene might have been daunting, but the threats they pose are often tangible and easy to stab with adamantium claws. Taking on the injustices committed against mutants is a lot harder to battle. Professor Xavier has not shied away from that and neither have his X-men. Having survived their clash in Nova Roma, it's important to remember that no amount of magic can make these injustices disappear. Rampant injustice is what will trigger the next conflict. The X-men understand this and so do men like General Grimshaw. That's what the X-men will have to confront next and it may already be too late. I've prepared a brief preview of what this injustice has stirred and I've posted an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
In addition, I have another exciting update from X-men Supreme's newest artist, Mack. He's been hard at work bringing the most iconic moments in X-men Supreme Issue 68: The Phoenix Saga Part 6 to life and he's once again made an awesome contribution. He's submitted the second panel of that moment, detailing the ghastly turning point where Jean Grey's inability to control the Phoenix Force hurt the man she loves. It's a great piece and one Mack did an excellent job on. Enjoy!
We're about to enter the next phase of X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Turths. I've spent a good chunk of this part of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series setting up a world of new challenges for the X-men to deal with. Those challenges are about to lead them into a clash that will completely reshape the world of X-men Supreme. The ramifications of what they've done and the choices they've made will drive this conflict. Characters will be changed. Prices will be paid. Hearts will be broken. As I develop this conflict, it's very important that readers take time to provide feedback for X-men Supreme. I need to know if I'm doing this right and making it awesome. Either contact me or post your comments directly in the issue. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

There are moments in every major X-men story that act as turning points of sorts. These moments, such as the death of Jean Grey in the Phoenix Saga or the death of the Morlocks in the Morlock Massacre, change the fundemental nature of how the X-men operate and how they go about their mission. Their goals don't change. Their desire to be heroes and protect a world that hates and fears them don't change either. However, a major aspect of how they conduct themselves does change. It's not always obvious at first, but it leads to some very big moments down the line. The final issue of the Civilization No Longer Lost arc in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series will lead to just such a moment.
Part of my desire to keep X-men Supreme engaging and interesting involve putting the X-men in a position where they have to make hard choices that affect how they function as a team. A lot of those choices have involved difficult moments amongst allies and potential enemies. I look at moments like Charles Xavier convincing the Scarlet Witch to end the Genosha uprising or Wolverine choosing to go after the Yashida Clan as moments in X-men Supreme that act as turning points for stories and characters alike. The impact of those decisions doens't hit all at once. The aftermath often acts as a foundation of sorts from which I continue to build this fanfiction series. What happens in these events turns into other, more powerful moments that further reshape the course of X-men Supreme. For that reason, the moment in this final issue of Civilization No Longer Lost is a moment from which many changes will stem.
It's not just about the conflicts that the X-men face within this arc. There's no question that Selene and Sinister are daunting foes. And in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, their romantic entanglement along with their alligence with Vulcan and the Goblin Queen make them even more menacing. It's not just about Nova Roma and the mystical sub-plot that has been unfolding along with the plot surrounding Sinister and Selene. What will make this arc such a major turning point is what the X-men will have to do in order to end this conflict. The implications will not be obvious. But as the events of X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths unfold, the biggest moments in this fanfiction series will be traced to the decision made in this arc. So for those seeking a defining moment in X-men Supreme, this issue and this arc is one you won't want to miss.
With the conclusion of this arc, there's no going back for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. The X-men, along with their friends and enemies, are now on a collusion course with a fate that they may or may not be ready to confront. What they do in this arc will come at a price and that price will leave scars. However, the depth and severity of those scars will only widen as the consequences of this arc unfold. There are more dark secrets, more hard decisions, and more bitter struggles ahead. And it's going to create a world for the X-men unlike any other. For that reason, it's all the more important that readers take the time to submit reviews for this fanfiction series. As I develop this world, the feedback I get helps assure me that it continues to be awesome. So please take the time to review by posting your comments directly in the issue or contact me directly. Either way is fine. Thanks as always to those who support the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

In every great struggle, victory comes at a price. There have been many struggles throughout the history of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Few of these struggles would qualify as total victories where the X-men won the day and nobody suffered any ill-effects. This kind of victory is rare for the X-men in the same way it’s rare for everybody. Most of the time, collateral damage is unavoidable. The X-men have certainly endured more than their share. Friends have had their lives ruined, painful secrets have been revealed, and trust among friends has been undermined. This says nothing about the kind of damage the public at large incurs whenever someone like Magneto threatens the world. Now, the world of X-men Supreme is facing a threat that promises to do all kinds of damage and stopping it will most certainly come at a price.
Since I introduced them in this fanfiction series, Sinister and Selene have developed a unique, and at times disturbing relationship. Alone, they are dangerous enough. They’re both very cunning and deceitful, capable of outwitting the X-men and anyone who dares get in their way. One operates using magic. The other operates using science. But with their combined talents, they can do a lot more than just outsmart their enemies. They’re finally thinking bigger. They’ve abducted Colossus’ sister, Illyana. They’ve infiltrated the hidden city of Nova Roma. Now they’re seeking to tap the power within Mount Anton and they’re already several steps ahead of the X-men. They’ve already done plenty of damage to Nova Roma, but the damage they’re capable of inflicting on the world of X-men Supreme is far greater.
This is why the Civilization No Longer Lost arc is so important for X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths. The damage it incurs and the price of victory will have dire consequences for this fanfiction series. Characters will be profoundly affected. Consequences, both short and long-term, will be severe. It is the first major arc of X-men Supreme Volume 5: Dark Truths and the major arcs that follow will be a direct result of what happens here. The final issue of this arc is vital in terms of establishing context and precedent for the future of this fanfiction series. As such, I’ve prepared a brief preview for what can be expected in the epic conclusion of this arc. I’ve also placed an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.
Each event, the damage it does, and the price paid for victory help the X-men Supreme fanfiction series evolve. Every major arc leads to another and the effects have subtle and not-so-subtle influences on the world of X-men Supreme at large. It’s been a challenge developing this world, but one I put a great deal of effort into making awesome. For that reason, it’s very important that I get feedback to ensure that it’s as awesome as it can be. I don’t know I’m doing something wrong unless someone tells me. So please, take the time to submit feedback. Either post it in an issue or contact me directly. I’m always happy to chat X-men or comics in general. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!
