X-men Supreme Reflections Volume 4
Elizabeth Braddock

Preview:

My father was a hero in a ways that didn’t require superpowers or fancy costumes. He made a difference using only his mind. As a little girl I would watch these old crime movies with him and he would point out all the clues and connections before the main character had his first clue. I know it’s easy to impress young children with damn near everything, but this left a hell of an impression. Instead of playing cops and robbers with my brother, I played detective.

It started off with puzzles. Boy did I drown hours on end with puzzles. From word searches to crossword puzzles, mazes, computer games, and rubix cubs I devoured every one I could get my hands on. My father taught me all the tricks of the trade. Every time I thought I was finished, he would encourage me to find the next step. There was always another step it seemed and sometimes it went beyond just solving the puzzle. He encouraged me to look at how I was solving it. What tools could I use to get the answer I was looking for? I didn’t have much to work with besides my own brain. I didn’t find out until years later that my brain had much more to offer.

My puzzle phase lasted until I was about eleven-years-old. My parents were worried that I was becoming too much of a recluse. By this time my brother was a teenager already training as a junior cadet in a British military academy. He was going to be a real soldier for the crown and he had plenty of people looking out for him. I didn’t have anywhere near that kind of support. I had practically no friends and I didn’t know too many kids that shared my interest. Every day after school I would go straight up to my room and work on puzzles. Socially, that was very healthy. Being the stubborn little bloke that I was, I didn’t see much reason to put myself out there. It took a jolt of tragedy to get me out of my shell.

One day my mother returned from a trip to Hong Kong feeling ill. My father and I thought it was just jet lag or the flu. Then the vomiting and fainting started. Overnight she became pale as a ghost and weak as a 98-year-old cripple. Something was terribly wrong so my father rushed her to the hospital.

There she was diagnosed with this rare form of tropical flu. It was native only to Southeast Asia and potentially lethal. They assumed she got it from her extensive travels to that area. My father suspected something more sinister at work. My mother had been working on this case against a team of Asian crime lords with ties to these Yakuza clans in Japan. While she and my father were used to catching heat from these guys, they were always careful and well-prepared. That didn’t mean they were untouchable. One rule of the criminal underworld is that no one is untouchable.

If my mother really was poisoned, there were no clues to follow. There was no evidence of foul play. Even someone as brilliant as my father couldn’t figure it out. He had to watch helplessly as my mother suffered for nearly three weeks in a hospital bed before slipping into a coma and dying. For me and Brian, it was pretty bloody devastating. It still haunts me to this day.

That would make a lot of sense if it didn’t feel so strange now because I’m in a body that she didn’t give birth to. Does that still make her my mother? The hell if I know. What’s even worse is this story of my life has to compete with the story of Kwannon’s.

X-men Supreme

Welcome true believers! You've reached the main hub for Marvel Universe 1015, aka X-men Supreme. I am the main writer Jack, but some may know me as MarvelMaster616. I'm the writer of this fanfiction series, a lifelong comic book fan with a special passion for X-men. I've read the comics, seen the movies, and watched the cartoons and I've always aspired to be a great writer. I haven't made may way through the hallowed gates of Marvel or DC comics, but I'm working on that!

In the meantime I've refined my craft through fanfiction. I've written many stories, most of the X-men, on various sites. But none have been quite on this scale. X-men Supreme is my effort to make a true, genuine marvel universe that you would expect in a published comic. I'm treating it as if Marvel Comics themselves tasked me with writing this series. Think of it as another Ultimate universe, the same characters with a new and modern twist. As such, it'll be updated like a real comic. The updates will come bi-weekly and on Fridays. Also like a real comic, I accept criticism from readers and I hope everybody takes the time to provide feedback for each issue or just shoot me a message if you want to hear directly from me. I have many stories to tell and I hope to keep this series going a long time!

I hope you all enjoy X-men Supreme as much as you would enjoy any X-men comics. I look forward to this ambitious project and thank you for being a part of it.

Excelsior!

Today is a great day to be a Psylocke fans. The X-men’s resident ninja/psychic is ready for her turn in X-men Supreme Reflections. She will be the first in a five-issue mini-series that will dig deeper into the characters that had some of the greatest influence on X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. Of all the famous X-men characters I’ve introduced in this fanfiction series, Psylocke holds a special place in my heart. And I hope to show that in this thorough examination of what makes Elizabeth Braddock who she is in the world of X-men Supreme.

I’ve always felt that Psylocke’s origin was a bit too rushed. She was a British woman with blond hair and powerful telepathy who ended up in the body of a female Japanese ninja. That’s a pretty severe transition for anybody to endure. And I don’t think the nature of that transition was sufficiently explored in the comics. But it’s that transition that came to define Psylocke as a character and as a major player with the X-men. However, at times that transition is forgotten. Reading the comics today, who would guess that Psylocke ever switched bodies? That’s why I made her body swap such a big part of The Lotus and the Warrior. I wanted it to have an impact. And in this entry of X-men Supreme Reflections, I’ll be thoroughly exploring that impact.

A core theme of the X-men has to do with identity. Most of the time, the struggles with identity revolve around being a mutant. But for Psylocke, that struggle is a lot more complicated, especially given the circumstances in X-men Supreme. How does someone deal with having their mind transferred into a new body? What does that do to her identity? That’s something that I made sure she struggled with in X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. It was a major driving force in the drama that developed between her and Gambit. I have big plans for her character in X-men Supreme Volume 5 and beyond if this fanfiction series continues. That’s why this is a very important issue to read for Psylocke fans because it’ll set the tone for her struggles as she moves forward in X-men Supreme.

X-men Supreme Reflections: Elizabeth Braddock

I have a feeling that Psylocke fans are going to enjoy this. I consider myself among those fans. That’ll give me all the more incentive to make her story awesome in future issues of X-men Supreme. But I can never have enough incentive to make this fanfiction series and all the characters it contains more awesome. So please take the time to leave a review for this issue, especially if you’re a die-hard Psylocke fan. Either post it directly in the issue or contact me directly with your feedback. I’ll be more than happy to respond to any questions or concerns. I hope Psylocke fans and X-men fans as a whole continue to enjoy this fanfiction series. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Well now that everyone has had time to digest the conclusion of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear and see Captain America: The Winter Soldier, I feel the time is right to get started on the next phase of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. As I previously announced, I intend to do another installment of X-men Supreme Reflections. These character-centered vignettes give me a chance to take a step back from the ongoing chaos throughout X-men Supreme and explore some more intimate aspects of certain characters. I find it very satisfying because it helps give perspective for certain characters that otherwise wouldn't be gained from the main series. It's hard to squeeze in certain details when there are much bigger concerns like Magneto, aliens, and government conspiracies going on. And some of this perspective will be vital before proceeding into X-men Supreme Volume 5.

The first character I'll be exploring in this iteration of X-men Supreme Reflections is Psylocke. I've always had a keen fascination with her in the comics and not just because she's another beautiful, head-strong telepath. Psylocke has the added difficulty of having switched bodies. She went from being pretty British blonde to a Japanese ninja. That's quite a transformation and one I captured in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series during The Lotus and the Warrior arc. However, I approached her transformation differently. What happened to Elizabeth Braddock is directly linked to what happened with Kwannon Tsurayaba in the Overlord arc. Their lives are forever linked in this fanfiction series, but I haven't been able to explore that link as much as I would like.

It's a link that has often been overlooked in the comics. Reading about Psylocke these days, it's almost impossible to tell that she ever switched bodies. She shows no real issues with being in Kwannon's body. She just accepts it and functions perfectly fine. But is that reasonable? Does it really not bother her that much that she's living in a body she wasn't born in? That's something I've touched on a few times in X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. It has been a major driving force in the romantic drama between her and Gambit. But I wish to take it a bit further in X-men Supreme. When Betsy's mind was transferred into Kwannon's body, it was a traumatic process to say the least. That process left quite a few scars and this first reflection will explore those scars. I've prepared a brief preview here on this website and on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

The end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear brought with it many possibilities. It also brought an extra bit of feedback. I know I've been encouraging it at every turn and it's nice to see some of my urgings heeded. It gives me hope that X-men Supreme Volume 5 will be even more successful and it gives me even more reason to continue X-men Supreme after. I have big plans for this fanfiction series and the more feedback I get, the more incentive I have to realize those plans. So once again, I urge everyone to take the time to provide feedback for X-men Supreme. Either contact me directly or post it in the comments section of each issue. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

April 4th, 2014

It feels like I’ve been working on the X-men Supreme fanfiction series for a long time. And in many respects, I have. I began this fanfiction series in 2010. That means I’ve been working on it for four years. There are comic book series that don’t last that long, especially those on a bi-weekly update schedule. In that respect, I like to think X-men Supreme has achieved something special in that time. And with the end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear, those achievements now have a larger context.

As I’ve announced before, I have every intention of continuing this fanfiction series into Volume 5. I do have plans beyond that, but I am still undecided on whether I’ll pursue those plans. It certainly has helped that I saw a slight uptick in feedback with the end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. It also helps that some, such as a very generous reader named Callum, took the time to contact me and helped me find out that there was a problem with my email filters. I want this fanfiction series to keep growing. And I want X-men Supreme’s appeal to expand. I know it’s difficult generating the same passion with a fanfiction series as the comics. But I’m going to keep treating X-men Supreme with the expectation that it’s possible to inspire such passion.

X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear had a lot of upheavals. My main goal with this era of X-men Supreme was to make the X-men’s struggle a more global struggle. President Robert Kelly and General Nathan Grimshaw shifted the fight away from battling Sentinels and Magneto to battling public opinion. This culminated with the treaty that was signed in Issue 97: Uneasy Truce that attempts to fight conflict by generating prosperity, courtesy of Shi’ar technology. And while this will create some new conflicts, the next era of X-men Supreme will focus more on personal conflicts.

I already offered a hint of it. Characters like Sinister and Mystique will have some important moments. There’s also the matter of Colonel Wraith and Reverend Stryker, who already did their share of damage in X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. And don’t forget X-men Supreme’s newest addition, Weapon X-23. There’s a lot to deal with in this new era of X-men Supreme. But before I begin exploring this bold new world, I will be doing another installment of X-men Supreme Reflections. I’ll be taking five characters and delving into their psyche, offering a fresh perspective on who they and what they’re dealing with. I will announce the first character of focus in one week and I’ll be including a preview of it as well.

I am still committed to making the X-men Supreme fanfiction series as awesome as it can be. However, I am also pursuing other writing endeavors. As some already know, I regularly update the X-men Supreme Official Blog with comic book reviews and I am a regular contributor to PopMatters.com. In addition, I am attempting to become a published author. My book, Skin Deep, has been available for a while now and I have every intention of writing more. But because of these efforts, updates might not be as frequent. I’ll try to stick to my bi-weekly schedule, but that may change. But make no mistake. I will continue X-men Supreme Volume 5 until it is completed. And regardless of what other projects I have going on, I hope X-men Supreme can help me refine my craft.

But this is not to say that I don't have something to add for this update. Recently, Marvel completed a major crossover event between All New X-men and Guardians of the Galaxy entitled, The Trial of Jean Grey. It was a good story and one I reviewed on my blog. In the spirit of this story, I felt the time was right to do an update to the pics section for Jean Grey. She's becoming an increasingly important figure in the comics. Expect her to do the same in X-men Supreme.

As always, a lot of that depends on the feedback I get from readers. The more support I have, the more confident I am that I can continue X-men Supreme through Volume 5 and beyond. So please take the time to send me your feedback by either contacting me or posting it in the comments section of each issue. I look forward to exploring this next era of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Until then, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

March 28, 2014

The end has arrived. A very eventful era of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series has come to an end. I'm very proud of what I've accomplished with X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. This was era of X-men Supreme brought a very different kind of conflict to this fanfiction series. It wasn't just about fighting enemies like Magneto or Sinister. It was about making allies like General Grimshaw and President Robert Kelly. Winning battles is easy in the short-term. But winning the peace in the long-term is much more difficult. That's a battle that often gets overlooked in the annuls of X-men. I wanted to show just how difficult it is to create the peace that Professor Charles Xavier dreams of achieving. Now as X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear ends, the conflicts that have been raging are finally winding down and the world is ready for peace.

But even Professor Xavier understands that peace is incredibly fragile. He also understands that peace cannot be built on ideals alone. There needs to be an incentive to maintain that peace for everybody. Many times it requires compromise and sacrifice. The X-men and their allies in General Grimshaw have done more than their share of sacrificing since X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear began. Actions by the likes of Magneto, Colonel Wraith, and the Cambrian haven't made it easy for them. But now they've been given a chance to great the necessary incentives for peace. Ironically, Magneto provided those incentives during the events of the Time Bomb arc. He was able to re-activate recovered Shi'ar technology through Warlock, an AI that controls this technology. When he left, he left behind this powerful technology that happens to be in the hands of Genosha, which is now once again being run by Magneto's daughter, the Scarlet Witch.

Now in the final issue of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear, a new status quo is emerging. But this status quo isn't built around as many of Charles Xavier's ideals as the X-men probably hope. It's built around the hope that this alien technology, distributed and sold by Genosha, will create prosperity. And when there's prosperity, there are far fewer reasons to go to war. It's an overly pragmatic, if not downright hallow, means of achieving peace. But after all the damage that Magneto did along with the Cambrian, it's the only way the X-men can hope to salvage some level of peace and security. But before it even begins, some new threats to that security emerge. And the next stage of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is set to begin with this final issue.

X-men Supreme Issue 97: Uneasy Truce

In the end, X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear was almsot as long as X-men Supreme Volume 3: Ashes of Hope. The length and scope of this fanfiction series continues to grow. This makes developing X-men Supreme that much more challenging. And even as it has grown, the feedback has remained flat or declined. I really am hoping it'll increase with the conclusion of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. As I said in my last update, some of the emails that have been sent to me through this website have been blocked by my email filter. I have since changed it. I always respond to emails within 24 hours so if anyone has not heard back from me, then something is wrong. Please use Twitter or Facebook to contact me so I can fix it. But now that I've resolved this issue, I really hope to get some feedack now that the fourth volume of X-men Supreme is complete. I'm still committed to making Volume 5, but if support continues to decline it may be the last. So please take the time to provide feedback by posting it in the comments section of the issue or contact me directly. Either way is fine. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

March 21, 2014

It's almost over. Another era of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is nearly complete. The scale and scope of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear has taken the X-men, their allies, and their enemies in many different directions. At times, it has been downright chaotic. So many forces beyond their control have been bombarding them from every possible angle. There have been personal struggles like Wolverine's past in Japan and Professor Charles Xavier's failing health. There have been much larger struggles against the Cambrian and a mentally unstable Magneto armed with alien technology. Those struggles have led to new allies like Colossus joining the team while others such as Rogue and Nightcrawler have taken a leave of absence. Now with the final arc complete, there is just one issue left to close the chapter on this era of X-men Supreme and set the stage for another.

Since I began this fanfiction series, one of my goals was to establish a sense of progression with this incarnation of X-men. A common problem that the comics, cartoons, and movies often face is stagnation. There are only so many times that the X-men can triumph over Sentinels and the Brotherhood before it gets dull. The characters and the world they live in has to keep evolving. While Marvel has done a pretty good job of evolving their characters, I feel as though the world those characters inhabit doesn't evolve enough. I've tried to make the world of X-men Supreme react and change in accord with major events. From the uprising on Genosha to the election of Robert Kelly, I want to treat the world of X-men Supreme as its own character.

Now with the end of the Time Bomb arc, that world is entering a bold new chapter. Magneto attempted one last misguided attack using alien technology. While the X-men and the Brotherhood were able to defeat him, the hostility that has been building since the Cambrian attack has not abated. General Grimshaw and President Kelly have been eager to hold Magneto accountable for his crimes, but now he's gone. So how can any peace come from these circumstances? Well at the end of Time Bomb, the X-men and the Brotherhood were left with an important bargaining chip. Warlock, the AI from a crashed Shi'ar ship, has been activated and is ready for use. This technology is of immense value to a world that is still rebuilding from the Cambrian. And through this technology, a new foundation for peace can be forged. However, that peace will be fragile at best. And that's what I hope to convey in the final issue of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. I've prepared a brief preview here on this website and on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

Only one issue remains for this era of X-men Supreme. As I've stated before, I already intend to pursue X-men Supreme Volume 5 and another entry of X-men Supreme Reflections. However, the future beyond that point is still tentative. I work long and hard on this fanfiction series. And lately, I've been pursuing other side-projects unrelated to X-men Supreme. And in recent times, feedback and reviews for X-men Supreme have been declining. At this current rate, it will get to a point where I can no longer justify the work I put into this fanfiction series. So there is a chance that X-men Supreme may end at some point. I will not say for certain, but those who want to see this fanfiction series continue can influence my decision by simply taking the time to provide feedback. Please contact me at any time or just post your comments in each issue. I am very good at responding and I'm always happy to chat X-men.

Please Note: I recently discovered that my email filter may have been blocking out messages sent through this website's contact form. I have since fixed this. But anyone who may have tried to send me a message before yesterday might not have gone through. Please re-send your message. It should go through this time. I apologize.

I have big plans for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series and I would hate to have to cut those plans short. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

The core theme of the X-men has always been built around pursuing peace over war. I've tried to capture that theme in many ways throughout the X-men Supreme fanfiction series and as the story has unfolded, one thing has become clear. Peace is very hard to achieve, with or without the added complications of Magneto and Sentinels. But that's exactly why Professor Xavier considers it such a worthy dream. He and his X-men have gone to great lengths to forge peace out of the chaos that constantly unfolds around them. Now they'll have to do it again while dealing with a mentally unstable Magneto.

I've taken Magneto down some dark and devious paths in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. It was only a matter of time before he became so lost that even his own children will no longer stand beside him. But as mentally unstable as Magneto has become, he is still brilliant in his own right. He was the one that initially uncovered the Shi'ar technology from the alien ship during X-men Supreme Issue 46: Paradise Mystery. He also found a way to utilize that technology to locate the Cambrian. Now he's trying to use it again, this time in a much more direct manner. He's unleashed Warlock, the AI that governs this advanced Shi'ar technology. And this AI will allow Magneto to send the entire world of X-men Supreme back to the stone age. There won't be much peace possible after that.

So now in the penultimate issue of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear, the X-men must work with the Brotherhood of Mutants to stop Magneto. And while they're at it, they'll also have to find a way to prevent General Grimshaw and President Kelly from launching a full blown war to make Magneto pay for his crimes. General Grimshaw has already shown that he's more than willing and he'll have plenty of company if Magneto can't be stopped. Time is running out in this final arc. What will this mean for the future of the X-men and the world as a whole? It's all revealed in this very important issue of X-men Supreme.

X-men Supreme Issue 96: Time Bomb Part 2

In addition, I finally got around to doing an update for the pics section. I know I've been negating it for a while, but I always keep an eye out for great X-men pics. I'm also always in the market for new commissions. I've had a few very generous artists connect with me and bring some very memorable moments from the X-men Supreme fanfiction series to life. I've documented all of them in the X-men Supreme Official Panels section. For anyone else who is interested, please feel free to contact me and I'll be happy to discuss details. Until then, here's a list of the sections I've updated.

There is now only one issue left of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. The world X-men Supreme is about to undergo another dramatic change. The extent of that change will set the stage for the next era of this fanfiction series. While I have every intention of crafting X-men Supreme Volume 5, the future of this fanfiction series remains in question after that. The lack of feedback and reviews for X-men Supreme lately have been discouraging. And depending on how the next era of this fanfiction series unfolds, it may be the last. I hope it isn't. I still have plenty of ideas to pursue for this fanfiction series. But I can't make those ideas sufficiently awesome without support. So please take the time to provide feedback for X-men Supreme. Contact me and send it directly or post it in the comments section of the issue. Thank you to all those who have been along for the ride. Only one issue left of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. Until then, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Since the X-men Supreme fanfiction series began, there have been some major turning points that occurred because of fateful decisions. These decisions didn't just have immediate consequences. They affected the overall course of X-men Supreme moving forward. And nobody has had to make more of these decisions than Magneto. He also happens to be the one who has put the world of X-men Supreme on the brink more than anyone else. First he led an uprising. Then he tried to wipe out all of humanity with an asteroid. Then he unleashed the Cambrian. It has finally taken a toll on him, so much so that's no longer in a clear state of mind. This has led to him making a decision to unleash Warlock, a sentient alien technology on the whole world. He is prepared to make one last effort to subdue the human race and the X-men have to stop him. But this time, stopping him isn't enough. Something has to be done about him and about the damage he has done. And that decision will be what leads to the final conclusion of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear.

This has been an interesting and challenging direction for this fanfiction series. With the introduction of General Grimshaw and Captain Freeman as well as new dynamics between the X-men and the human race, I've set up a collection of circumstances that has made X-men Supreme increasingly distinct. The conflicts in this fanfiction series simply cannot be found anywhere else, but it still maintains the core theme of X-men and the characters. And that has been my goal for X-men Supreme from the beginning. I don't just want it to be different than the comics. I want it to uniquely resonate with the themes of X-men. And that's why the conclusion of the Time Bomb arc is so important.

And it isn't just Magneto who will be facing some major turning points. Beyond the conflicts between the X-men and Magneto, there are still many personal conflicts to go around. And no character in X-men Supreme has endured more hardship than Wolverine. Since X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear began, he has endured blow after blow. He learned the horrible truth about his past in Japan. He also had a fateful encounter with Mystique that raised even more questions about his past. But his breakup with Storm has led him to hit rock bottom. He is now in such a damaged state that he struggles to function without the aid of alcohol. But then he encountered a girl who looks strikingly similar to him in X-23. In the comics, she's one of the newer complications to Wolverine's complex history. Now I'm very excited to introduce her to the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. And how she interacts with Wolverine will set the stage for the course of his character. It's also the subject of my preview for the next issue of the Time Bomb arc, which will also act as the penultimate issue of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. I also posted an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

In addition, I know it wasn't long ago that I mentioned X-men Supreme's newest artistic ally, Jack Crowder. He already helped endear himself to this fanfiction series by bringing Captain Jack Freeman and General Nathan Grimshaw to life in his first piece. Well now he has done two more. For the first one, he took a scene right out of X-men Supreme Issue 65: The Phoenix Saga Part 3 where Emma Frost first dawned her uniform in the world of X-men Supreme. For the second, he did a nice solo image of Nightcrawler in a scene taken right out of his Supreme Reflections entry. They're both great moments that I'm proud to add to my pics section.

X-men Supreme Official Panels

Time is running out for X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. Another era in this fanfiction series is about to end. The immediate future of this series isn't in question. It will continue. However, the distant future is still not settled. I hope that the end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear will get people excited about the future of X-men Supreme. I hope that means more feedback and more intrigue. But if it continues to decline and nobody can help me fix it, then my committments to X-men Supreme may have to change. I want to keep writing it, but I want to keep making it awesome and I can't do that without support. So please take the time to contact me and let me know how I'm doing with this fanfiction series. That way I can make sure that X-men Supreme continues to be awesome. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

February 28th, 2014

Everything that has been unfolding in X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear has been building towards this. The X-men Supreme fanfiction series is about to undergo yet another transformation. In the dead of winter with the prospect of a thaw seeming so remote, X-men Supreme is about to enter its coldest and darkest hour before the dawn. It seems everything has been going wrong for the X-men and Charles Xavier in their efforts to promote peace and understanding. They thought they could take a step forward by partnering with the likes of General Nathan Grimshaw, who formed the Mutant Security Agency as part of President Kelly's new mutant initiative. But due to various circumstances beyond their control, the prospects for peace seem so remote.

While things may seem dire for the X-men and the X-men Supreme fanfiction series as a whole, all hope is not lost. There are still ways for the X-men to forge a new peace out of this chaos. It may seem impossible, but it can be done. That's something that often gets overlooked in the comics, cartoons, and movies. Everything only seems to get worse. There's little sense of progression for Charles Xavier's dream or the mission of the X-men. I don't want to do that with X-men Supreme. I want to show that it is possible for there to be a sense of progression with the X-men's mission. I also want to show that this progression can be made interesting. I've already shown in many instances how bad it has gotten for young mutants in the world of X-men Supreme. But I haven't really shown how it can get better. Well now it needs to get better because Magneto is about to make one last effort to undermine everything the X-men stand for.

Since the X-men Supreme fanfiction series began, Magneto has made many bold attempts to assert mutant dominance over the world. Many of those efforts have failed due to the X-men. But some have succeeded. He managed to become leader of his own country. He established himself as a charismatic ruler and visionary for a large segment of the mutant population. But this wasn't enough. He wanted more for his people. This is what led him to tamper with the Cambrian, a power he neither understood nor controlled. It has left him physically and mentally damaged. Yet he is still capable of pulling off one last attempt to assert mutant domance. And that's what he'll do in Time Bomb, the final arc of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. What he does here and what happens afterward will force the X-men, the governments of the world, and humanity as a whole to take a step forward. Because if they don't, all could be lost.

X-men Supreme Issue 95: Time Bomb Part 1

It has been a long, eventful journey since X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear began. The X-men Supreme fanfiction series continues to evolve in many different ways, some of which I never imagined. But as it evolves, I hope it continues to maintain the spirit of the X-men mythos that so many have come to love and anticipate. However, over the past year or so, support for X-men Supreme seems to be flat or declining. This has made it difficult to continue updating at this regular pace. And once X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear is over, I may have to re-assess how often this fanfiction series is updated and how long it will go. But readers do have the power to influence these decisions. Just take the time to submit feedback for this fanfiction series. Either post it online in each individual issue or contact me directly. Either is fine. Expect some major announcements about the future of X-men Supreme very soon. But until then, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

The end of another volume of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is near. X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear has been eventful to say the least. The world of X-men Supreme has endured many upheavals that have changed the nature of the X-men's struggle. It began with the inauguration of President Robert Kelly. Then two original characters were introduced in General Nathan Grimshaw and Captain Jack Freeman. They helped create some fragile yet important ties between the X-men and the government. It was quickly tested when Magneto unleashed the Cambrian on the entire world. And while strained, this link is still intact. But now it's about to be tested in another way that will end another era of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series.

Once again, the conflict comes from Magneto. He has been the center of many major conflicts for the X-men both in this fanfiction series and throughout the history of the X-men mythos. While many may question his sanity, few can question his intent. He sees the human race as a threat to mutants. He doesn't believe that peace is possible and while he has shown time and again that he's willing to wage war with humanity, he also goes to great lengths to protect innocent mutants, especially his children. It's a dynamic that I've been exploring since I began X-men Supreme. Quicksilver, Polaris, and the Scarlet Witch have influenced Magneto in many ways. Sometimes it has been for the better. Sometimes they end up aiding his instability. Well now their commitment to their father is about to reach a pivotal and dangerous crossroad.

The final arc of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear will do more than pit Magneto against the X-men and the human race. He will now have to oppose his own children. He has done so much to protect them, but with the scars of the Cambrian still festering in his mind, he is prepared to cross lines he once deemed unthinkable. It is part of Magneto's progression into greater instability. I have made this a theme throughout this fanfiction series because I feel Magneto can't help but become obsessed in his dedication to his own vision. In many instances throughout the history of the X-men, this has destroyed him and those he cares about. Now this obsession is about to reach a turning point as X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear comes to an end. And once again, I've prepared a brief preview here and on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

In addition, I also have a quick update to the X-men Supreme Official Panels section. I know it has been a while since I got a piece of artwork for this fanfiction series, but as luck would have it I just made a good friend in Jack Crowder. He generously agreed to a commission for X-men Supreme featuring my two original characters, Captain Jack Freeman and General Nathan Grimshaw. I can't thank him enough for taking the time to contribute to the X-men Supreme fanfiction series and I have posted his piece in the pics section.

X-men Supreme Official Panels

Only a few issues remain of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. But in those few issues, I will be introducing some new elements that will lay the groundwork for X-men Supreme Volume 5. New characters, new threats, and new complications will continue make this fanfiction series more distinct. I have some significant plans for X-men Supreme, but I can only pursue those plans if I have sufficient support. As I've noted before, there hasn't been a lot of feedback with X-men Supreme lately. I wish I knew why because it's hard to stay dedicated to a fanfiction series if nobody is following it. I want to keep making X-men Supreme better and I can't do that without support. So please take the time to post your comments in the comments section of each issue or contact me dirctly. Either way is fine and really goes a long ways towards helping me improve X-men Supreme. So until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Throughout the history of X-men, there have been many characters of questionable mental stability. And capturing that lack of mental stability has been one of the many challenges I’ve had in developing the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I’ve noticed that all too often a story will focus only on the extremes and not the development in between. That’s why I’ve tried to take my time in X-men Supreme to show why a character becomes unstable. The circumstances throughout X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear has been stressful to say the least. It was only a matter of time before it got to somebody and with only a few issues left, Magneto will be the first to reach his breaking point.

Since this fanfiction series began, Magneto has been a driving force for many of the conflicts in X-men Supreme. He was the one that led the uprising on Genosha. He was the one that tried to wipe out all of humanity with an asteroid. And he was the one that unleashed the Cambrian on the whole world. But part of what makes Magneto such a compelling character in the mythos of X-men is that he’s not evil per se. He is a product of some pretty terrible experiences. He saw the very worst of humanity because of that, he has little regard or compassion for the human race. I’ve tried to capture that in X-men Supreme, but I also want to build on the effects that his actions have had on him. And after the events of the Cambrian, Magneto has been pushed over the edge.

At the end of the Cambrian Explosion arc, Magneto lost his connection with this ancient creature. This loss traumatized his mind and rendered him incapable of being the leader that Genosha needs. Since his failure, he has been in seclusion on Genosha while the X-men and Brotherhood attempt to clean up the mess he made. But while in seclusion, Magneto has been plotting and planning. And with the effects of the Cambrian, he is now more dangerous than ever. That danger is the spark that will lead to the ultimate conclusion of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. The countdown begins in this issue and it’s only going to get more volatile until the final resolution.

X-men Supreme Issue 94: Madness and Madmen

It feels like I’ve gone in many different directions with X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. I imagine it’s hard for some to keep up with. That’s a by-product of having a fanfiction series this big. I imagine Marvel deals with the same issue in developing their comics. But unlike Marvel, I don’t have as many indicators to know that I’m developing X-men Supreme right. So I ask everyone who reads this fanfiction series to provide feedback. Either post it directly in the issue or contact me directly. I’m always happy to chat. Feedback has been flat or declining lately and I want to do everything I can to increase it. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear has had some big moments and even bigger events. Ancient creatures have been uncovered, aliens have attacked, and two new original characters have been introduced to the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. So many changes and so many shake-ups have occurred, many of which will influence future stories. But with the end of Starcrossed, I can now say definitively that the end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear is almost over. There are only a few issues left. I don't intend to tie up every loose end. That's by design because I will be revisiting these stories in X-men Supreme Volume 5. But I do intend to have a few key plots converge to cap off X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear.

Between the events of Cambrian and Starcrossed, the X-men were put under a great deal of stress. The Cambrian made a real mess of things to say the least. And Charles Xavier's declining health didn't help matters much either. Now Professor Xavier is healthy and just in time too. While the X-men were dealing with an alien attack, the Xavier Institute was hacked by Arcade, who had been enlisted by Colonel Wraith and Reverend Stryker. Both have fallen out of favor from President Robert Kelly, but neither has given up on their pursuit of a weapon with which to combat mutants. They're making a move at the best possible time. President Kelly and General Grimshaw are still uncertain of how to handle mutant issues, especially in wake of the Cambrian. And on Genosha, the Cambrian has left Magneto mentally unstable. There are numerous vulnerabilities to exploit and they'll have plenty of opportunities moving forward.

In addition to the fragile state of the world, the X-men have also had their share of personal drama. Relationships like Wolverine and Storm have endured numerous upheavals in wake of events in Japan, the Cambrian, and Starcrossed. There are a lot of forces drawing them apart and they wouldn't be the first ones either. Gambit is still dealing with Rogue's recent departure and Iceman's personal life with Jubilee has been erratic at best. But not all the news is grim on the romantic front. Shadowcat has been growing closer with the X-men's newest recruit, Colossus. And through the X-men's recent struggles, they've gotten to know each other a little better. It's another classic pairing from the X-men comics that I had always planned for X-men Supreme. And it is just one of the many romantic developments that will be explored as the events of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear winds down. This next issue will set into motion all those events that will close this major chapter in this fanfiction series out. As always, I've prepared a brief preview here and on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

I sincerely hope that the end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear and the beginning of a new chapter in the history of X-men Supreme will boost interest. I get the sense that this fanfiction series has become stagnant. I don't see a lot of feedback being posted here or sent to me directly. I really do hope that changes. I work long and hard to make X-men Supreme as awesome as can be. And I can't make it better unless people support me with feedback. So please take the time to leave a review in this and every other issue possible. Either post it in the issue or contact me directly. Either way is fine as long as you review. Thank you all very much for supporting the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

The X-men Supreme fanfiction series has been the site of numerous clashes in its illustrious history. Some of those battles have had the entire world at stake. Others are more personal. The battle that has unfolded in the Starcrossed arc has a mix of both. The battle between the X-men and the Shi’ar is something that has been building up behind the scenes. It took a while to set the stage for the perfect moment. And between Professor Xavier’s cancer returning and the aftermath of the Cambrian, the Shi’ar couldn’t have struck at a better time.

Now that clash is about to come to an end. And when the dust settles, the situation within the X-men Supreme fanfiction series will be very different. The Shi’ar have already complicated things for the X-men in a major way. First came the revelation that Professor Xavier’s love interest, Lilandra Neramani, is half-alien. Then came the attack by the Shi’ar Imperial Guard. They have an agenda that began back in X-men Supreme Issue 46: Paradise Mystery. For reasons that aren’t clear yet, they are intent on wiping out the Neramani bloodline. And in their battle against the X-men, they are now dangerously close to succeeding.

Now the outcome of this conflict is ready to be revealed. In the context of X-men Supreme, it will vastly expand the scale of this fanfiction series. Now the X-men will face threats that go beyond Magneto, Genosha, and human/mutant politics. And as I’ve stated previously, I was initially reluctant to expand the X-men’s battle in X-men Supreme beyond simple mutant issues. But the history between the X-men and the Shi’ar is just too vast to ignore. The Starcrossed arc will be the spark that creates a whole new line of conflicts for the X-men to explore. Some will play out over the long term while some will have a very immediate impact. Either way, I believe it will be good for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series in the long term and for that reason, I take a special bit of satisfaction in capping off Starcrossed.

X-men Supreme Issue 93: Starcrossed Part 3

With the end of this arc, I can now reveal that there are only a few issues remaining in X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. This volume has brought about many changes and developments for this fanfiction series, but there are a few more I plan on squeezing in before putting a cap on this entry of X-men Supreme. It’s hard to believe I’ve completed nearly four volumes of this fanfiction series. Yet I still work hard every day to try and make it more awesome. So please, I implore everyone who reads X-men Supreme to provide feedback and reviews. I don’t care how you submit them. Contact me directly or post your comments directly in the comments section of each issue. Any bit of feedback helps inspire me to make X-men Supreme more awesome and I want to keep improving as this fanfiction series evolves. Thanks as always to all those who support X-men Supreme. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

There have been some major twists and shocking revelations in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. The history of X-men is vast and constantly changing. Between time travel, clones, and retcons the comics have created an elaborate mythos. But for X-men Supreme, I'm trying to avoid those kinds of complications. But that doesn't mean I'm going to hold back from pushing the envelope. X-men Supreme introduced the Shi'ar back in X-men Supreme Issue 46: Paradise Mystery. Then in X-men Supreme Issue 92: Starcrossed Part 2, the X-men clashed with the Shi'ar elite, the Imperial Guard. At stake is the life of Charles Xavier's lover, Lilandra Neramani. But this battle goes beyond her and beyond even the X-men.

Some may have already seen the hints, but there's a very important twist to the Shi'ar in X-men Supreme. As I said before, I didn't initially intend to use the Shi'ar when I started this fanfiction series. Then as I began refining my ideas, I came up with something that I felt would make the best possible story. I didn't just want to capture the important role the Shi'ar play in the history of the X-men. I wanted that role to have a different perspective within the context of X-men Supreme. I actually never cared much for he Shi'ar. I thought they seemed somewhat out of place in X-men. Well for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, their role will be much more defined. I can't spoil too much, but the Starcrossed arc will lay the foundation for what the Shi'ar mean to the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. As I've already revealed, they have visited Earth before. But there's a very good reason why they've visited Earth sparingly and don't make their presence known. And it's a reason that the X-men will eventually have to figure out over the course of X-men Supreme.

But for now, the X-men have to focus on surviving the onslaught of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard. They are prepared to kill Professor Xavier and anyone else who gets in their way in their quest to destroy the Neramani bloodline. They've already fought the X-men to a stalemate. Now some tough choices will have to be made. Lives are in the balance and time is running out. On top of that, the X-men have no idea that Reverend William Stryker and Colonel John Wraith are plotting against them once more. They've already enlisted Webber "Arcade" Torque to help them hack the Xavier Institute's computers. They are taking full advantage of the X-men's struggle against the Shi'ar and their activities will help set the stage for another big conflict that will unfold in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series very soon. There's a lot of conflict to resolve and the final issue of the Starcrossed arc will lead to some significant changes. As always, I've prepared a brief preview here on this website and an extended preview over at the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

I feel as though the X-men Supreme fanfiction series keeps growing in scope with every issue. And with this growth, I keep getting new ideas with which to expand this fanfiction series. It has already gone to many places I never planned on taking it when I began. I'm excited at the prospect of where it will lead as X-men Supreme continues to unfold after the Starcrossed arc. And a great deal of that inspiration comes from the feedback I get from readers. I don't get much, but make no mistake. It does help me make the X-men Supreme fanfiction series more awesome. For that reason, I urge everyone to please take the time to send me some feedback. Either post it in the comments section of each issue or contact me directly. Either way is fine. I'm always happy to talk X-men and comics. Thanks to all those who have supported X-men Supreme and until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

It’s another race against time in the pages of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Professor Charles Xavier is dying. Lilandra Neramani’s life is now the target of the Shi’ar Empire’s Imperial Guard. Her life now hangs in the balance and the X-men must find a way to help their mentor as he fights a losing battle with his cancer. It’s the kind of struggle that can’t be found anywhere else except X-men Supreme. The Starcrossed arc will force the X-men to make some difficult decisions. And from these decisions, the stage will be set for the home stretch for X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear.

There has been a lot of upheaval in this fanfiction series lately. It has been so dire and destructive, unleashing monsters like the Cambrian while characters endure immense emotional upheaval. Between Professor Charles Xavier dying, Wolverine leaning painful secrets about his past in Japan, and Rogue and Nightcrawler departing from the X-men, it seems like hope is becoming increasingly rare in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. But make no mistake, there is still hope in X-men Supreme. All is not lost and there will be reason for optimism by the time X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear comes to an end. It may seem hard to contemplate now, but part of the process in developing this fanfiction series is to follow cycles of struggle and triumph. Part of what makes the X-men strong and what fuels the success of any superhero team is their ability to emerge from conflict stronger.

That doesn’t mean the Shi’ar will make it easy for them. The Starcrossed arc isn’t just about another cycle of struggle. It will more definitively establish the role that the Shi’ar will play in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series moving forward. It has already led to some significant revelations about Lilandra Neramani. There are other revelations to come, but not in this arc. The Shi’ar have some very different motivations in X-men Supreme compared to the comics. That story is going to unfold in various ways, but first the X-men have to overcome the Shi’ar in Starcrossed. And that means taking on the Shi’ar Imperial Guard.

X-men Supreme Issue 92: Starcrossed Part 2

X-men has always been good at incorporating a certain amount of sci-fi elements. I wanted to make sure those elements were part of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series as well. It will add some new dimensions to this fanfiction series while putting a new twist on classic elements to the X-men narrative. It is a significant change in pace compared to some of the early plots I developed for X-men Supreme, but I have every intention of making it pay off in the long run. That’s why I always take the time to implore people to send feedback. X-men Supreme will benefit from these new plots if I get feedback from readers that let me know I’m doing something right or wrong. So please help me make X-men Supreme as awesome as it deserves to be by posting your comments directly in the issue or by contacting me directly. Either method is fine and I’m always happy to chat with my readers. Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

It's getting increasingly cold outside and increasingly dire in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Professor Charles Xavier's secret has been exposed. His X-men now know that his cancer is returned and he does not have much time left. But there's no time for them to be upset with him. An alien threat has returned to the world of X-men Supreme. In X-men Supreme Issue 46: Paradise Mystery, the Shi'ar were introduced to this fanfiction series. They have visited the planet Earth before, but for reasons that have yet to be explained, they have been avoiding it. Now they have returned and their target is none other than Professor Xavier's lover, Lilandra Neramani. And just like the comics that Marvel has been churning out for over 50 years, the Shi'ar will play a major role in the future of X-men Supreme.

Now I've actually gotten a few comments from readers, which I deeply appreciate by the way, regarding the inclusion of the Shi'ar. When I started the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, I wasn't sure if I wanted to bring aliens into the mix. I always felt that was a little out of place in the mythos of X-men. It's supposed to be a story about humans and mutants, not aliens. But there's no denying that the Shi'ar have a significant influence on the history of the X-men. And by negating it, I would be missing an opportunity to incorporate some of that history into X-men Supreme. So I eventually decided to bring the Shi'ar into the picture. And with Starcrossed, I will take the next bold step in bringing their story in line with that of the X-men. I established part of the conflict in X-men Supreme Issue 46: Paradise Mystery, but there's a much bigger story surrounding the Shi'ar. There's also a very good reason why they haven't shown up on Earth in X-men Supreme and it's very different from the reason in the comics. I can't reveal too much, but I can say there will be hints in Starcrossed.

The alien agenda for X-men Supreme arrives at a time when the rest of the world is still in a tenuous state of recovery. The impact of the Cambrian is still being felt. And as this alien story unfolds, look for another story to unfold with the likes of Reverend Stryker and Colonel Wraith. The end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear is in sight. And with this arc and the issues stemming from it, I will set the stage for its conclusion. I try to make the end of every volume of X-men Supreme feel natural and satisfying. I try to organize it as if it were one of Marvel's large graphic novel compilations. Starcrossed will represent a staging area of sorts. What happens in this arc will have far-reaching implications for the end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear and future volumes. For a sneak peak at what to expect, I've prepared a preview here on this site and on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

In addition, I hope to help warm up the cold winter months with a quick update to the pics section. There's no question that the women in X-men are hot. So who better than to warm up the coldest days of the year? As such, I've updated the sexy X-women section for the Goblin Queen.

It's hard to believe that I've almost completed four volumes of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I have many stories to tell and I intend to keep telling them. This series has evolved in ways I never expected when I first envisioned it. I fully expect it to take more twists and turns as this fanfiction series unfolds. And that's why I always make it a point to encourage people to provide feedback for X-men Supreme. If I'm doing something wrong, I want people to tell me about it. That way I can fix it or improve it. I always want ot be improving X-men Supreme and feedback is a key means of doing so. Please contact me directly or post your comments in the comments section of each issue. Either way is fine. Thank you very much to everyone who have taken the time to submit comments and feedback. I encourage everyone else to do so. Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

January 3rd, 2014

It's a brand new year for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. It also happens to be X-men Supreme's 5th anniversary. It seems so longer than it really is, but I began X-men Supreme back in 2010 and I had been planning it for much longer than that. So five years is a pretty big deal considering how much this fanfiction series has evolved in that time. And I have every intention of continuing that evolution into 2014. It's a big year for X-men as a whole. Another movie is set for release, X-men: Days of Futures Past. And Marvel Comics has some big plans on the horizon for the X-men with stories such as No More Humans and the Trial of Jean Grey. I have big plans as well for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series and many of them will stem from this new arc, Starcrossed.

I already revealed in the preview last week that Starcrossed will force Professor Charles Xavier and his X-men to confront his sickly condition. But that's not all the X-men will have to confront. The aftermath of the Cambrian is still being felt by many. The Brotherhood of Mutants did their best to contain that damage by trying to destroy the alien ship that had been buried under Genosha for centuries. However, the ship had other ideas. It became active again, signaling the Shi'ar that the bloodline they thought they had destroyed was still alive. It has both Wanda Maximoff, the de-facto ruler of Genosha, and General Grimshaw of the MSA very concerned. But they have no idea what their in for and they may never know.

It's going to be the X-men that will have to confront this alien threat. They've already done it before in X-men Supreme Issue 46: Paradise Mystery. Now they'll have to take on a much more menacing alien threat. And for reasons that aren't quite clear, Lilandra Neramani, Charles Xavier's love interest, is at the center of it all. Now Xavier will have to both confront his mortality and save the woman he loves, hoping his X-men will help him despite having lied to them. Emotions will be running high in this arc and it will have some important developments for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series as a whole. So this arc is a great jumping on point and one that I hope to be memorable for all the right reasons. And it starts today!

X-men Supreme Issue 91: Starcrossed Part 1

With a new year upon us, I want to keep making the X-men Supreme fanfiction series as awesome as it can possibly be. To do that, it's very important that I continue to increase support for this fanfiction series. X-men Supreme is only going to keep growing and I want my audience to grow with it. I make no money off this fanfiction series and I dedicate a lot of time and effort to make it awesome. So it's very important that I get feedback from my readers. So please take the time to post a review in the comments section of the issue or contact me directly. I'm always willing to chat! Thanks again to all those who have supported X-men Supreme over these last five years and I hope it continues in 2014. Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

December 27th, 2013

I hope everybody had a supremely awesome Christmas. And I hope everybody's holiday spirit is still strong enough to enjoy the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. For the X-men, it has been anything but festive. The Cambrian has ravaged the planet and the X-men, the Brotherhood of Mutants, and the governments of the world are still dealing with the consequences. As the world recovers, the X-men are trying to deal with some of their own personal issues. The departure of Rogue and Nightcrawler along with the arrival of Colossus has caused plenty of drama throughout the team. But the biggest issue that has been festering for a while has been the health of Professor Charles Xavier.

When I started the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, there were a number of things I wanted to do to make it truly unique. One of those things was Charles Xavier's backstory. In the comics and movies, the story of how he became confined to a wheelchair is pretty varied. But I wanted something that would humanize him in a profound way. Cancer is something that is very real and something that affects millions of people in the real world. I thought that by having Xavier deal with cancer and losing his legs over the course of his battle with this disease, it would do more than humanize him. It would make every second of his life more precious and help fuel his determination to build the X-men. Well now that time is about to run out.

Not long ago in X-men Supreme, Charles Xavier admitted that he knew he was on borrowed time. And he has been lying to his X-men the whole time as the cancer has returned. This time, he's not even fighting it. He has resigned himself to his fate. This comes at a very difficult time for the X-men and the world of X-men Supreme. Can there be an X-men without Charles Xavier? That's something they'll have to figure out soon because the next arc, which I have dubbed "Starcrossed," will force Charles Xavier to confront his mortality. And at stake is the life of the woman he loves, Lilandra Neramani. In the same way he has kept secrets from his X-men, Lilandra has been keeping secrets as well. It all starts to unravel in the first issue of this emotional arc. I've prepared a brief preview of this issue here and a more extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

With this post, X-men Supreme will be done with 2013 and move forward in 2014. It has been an amazing year with many major developments for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. In both X-men Supreme and the comics, the X-men celebrated their big 50th anniversary. So many changes took place and there will be plenty more changes in the coming year. And I always strive to make every year better than the last. But do this, it's incredibly important that I continue to get feedback for this fanfiction series. So please take the time to post your comments in the review section for each issue or just contact me directly. Either way is fine. Thanks again to all those who made 2013 such a great year for X-men Supreme. Again, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and on behalf of X-men Supreme, I wish everyone a happy New Year! Excelsior!

December 20th, 2013

Secrets have a way of coming back to haunt all those who keep them. Numerous well-known X-men stories and Marvel stories in general are predicated on secrets becoming exposed. In the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, many secrets have been kept and many more have been revealed as the story progressed. But recent events in X-men Supreme, most notably with the Cambrian, have made it impossible to continue concealing these secrets. As X-men Supreme Volue 4: Politics of Fear nears its end, a number of secrets are going to be revealed, which will subsequently set the stage for the next era in this fanfiction series.

As such, this latest issue of X-men Supreme is going to get the ball rolling on exposing these secrets. Right now, the most well-known secret involves Professor Charles Xavier and his battle against the cancer that took his legs from him. This struggle has been one of the unique plots I've developed for X-men Supreme. I feel it helps give Charles Xavier a very real and very human battle to endure. And like real life, that battle can't always be won. He has kept this struggle from his X-men, but he can no longer hide it. And in doing so, the very future of the X-men in X-men Supreme is at risk.

But Charles Xavier isn't the only one with a secret. A much bigger secret has been kept from Lilandra Nermani, a vital ally for the X-men and Charles Xavier's current love interest. I've been waiting to develop her character in a big way since I introduced her in X-men Supreme Issue 45: Hearts and Minds. She hasn't had much of a role in the X-men comics in recent years, but she's about to get a much bigger role in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. And it all begins with a major revelation about her past that will change her and Charles Xavier forever. It promises to take the X-men to conflicts that won't be restricted to the planet Earth anymore. But I won't drop too many hints. I prefer that a new issue speak for itself.

X-men Supreme Issue 90: Subversive Secrets

There are so many secrets in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series that I hope to explore. It's part of my effort to help set X-men Supreme apart from the comics. While I want to keep utilizing classic X-men elements, I also want to make it so X-men Supreme offers readers something that they won't find anywhere else. The unique twist is part of the appeal of X-men Supreme and I'm always trying ot refine it. With that in mind, it's very important that I continue to receive feedback for each and ever issue of this fanfiction series. So as always, I urge everyone to take the time to read and review this and every other issue of X-men Supreme. Either post your comments directly in the issue with my review system or contact me directly and tell me what you think. I'm always eager to chat. Thank you very much to all those who have supported X-men Supreme. I hope it continues as more secrets are revealed. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Throughout the history of the X-men, there have many different line-ups and many different teams. One of the biggest challenges any writer faces, whether it be comics or fanfiction, is effectively balancing that team. When I started the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, I started with the same Original Five X-men that Stan Lee and Jack Kirby used in Uncanny X-men #1 back in 1963. The lineup in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series has grown and changed a great deal since then. Many new characters have joined. Some, like Angel, have left. I've even revealed that the line-up for the X-men in X-men Supreme has undergone even greater changes in the past. And the recent events involving the Cambrian have led to the biggest roster shakeup for X-men Supreme in quite some time.

In Issue 89: Disheartening Discord, Rogue and Nightcrawler decided to leave the team. A number of personal issues that have recently came to a boiling point made it clear that they needed to have some time away from the X-men. Now I've already gotten a few comments about this and let me just spoil right now that this is not the last we'll see if these two. Rogue and Nightcrawler will show up again in a future story and it won't take long for that story to arrive. They'll have their own personal struggles to deal with and I have every intention of exploring it.

In the meantime, their departure was supplemented with the arrival of a new member to the X-men, Colossus. He's a character that was introduced in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series quite a while ago in Issue 26: The Ties That Terrorize. I had every intention of bringing Colossus to the X-men at some point. I just needed the right story to come along. The Cambrian was that story and now he'll be a big part of X-men Supreme moving forward. However, his timing couldn't be worse. The Cambrian has left a great deal of destruction in its wake and Charles Xavier's secret battle with cancer is about to be exposed. X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear is entering a critical juncture and the next issue will set the tone for how the final act of this Volume plays out. I've prepared a brief preview of this issue here and a more extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

In conjunction with these changes, I have also done a small update to the bios section. I know it has been a while since I added someone new, but now that Colossus is a part of the X-men, I think it's important that I provide a few background details to his story. Some of these elements will be explored later, but this should give people a general idea of his background in X-men Supreme. I always intended to add him to the lineup and I'm glad he is finally a part of the story.

Bio - Colossus

And I know I always take some time to encourage everyone to submit reviews and provide feedback for X-men Supreme and I'm always sincere in doing so. But it really does matter to me. I work long and hard to make this fanfiction series as awesome as possible and I can only improve if I get feedback. And thankfully, some have taken the time to do so. A very generous reviewer, Marvel Boy, has recently taken up the task of reviewing many back issues. For that, I thank him. And I hope more follow his example. Please feel free to contact me at any time with your comments. I'm always happy to chat. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

The holiday season is upon us and the atmosphere in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series has been less than festive. The Cambrian has done significant damage to mutants and humans alike. The X-men have been physically and mentally drained, some more than others. The strain promises to undermine all the progress the X-men have made towards cooperating with the government under President Robert Kelly and General Nathan Grimshaw. Oftentimes, the aftermath of a major event has just as much impact on the event itself. Marvel Comics has been showing that with the aftermath of X-men Battle of the Atom. I intend to do the same in X-men Supreme with the Cambrian.

The first step in dealing with any aftermath is the difficult recovery. All too often, the physical and mental strain on the characters is overlooked for the sake of moving onto the next story. I understand why Marvel wants to get to its big events, but it comes at the cost of some potentially important character moments. And I don't intend to gloss over those moments with X-men Supreme. The next issue of this fanfiction series isn't going to skip ahead or rely on flashbacks to deal with the aftermath. I'm going to actually try to take time to explore what the X-men, the Brotherhood, President Kelly, and General Grimshaw will be dealing with in a world that the Cambrian came uncomfortably close to destroying. It may not be heavy on action, but it will contain important moments for certain characters.

That said, the end of the Cambrian arc has already laid the foundation for the next big conflict in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Secrets are about to get revealed. Relationships are going to be tested. And some characters will be forced to make some very difficult decisions. It's a difficult time for the X-men and it'll all lead up to the final clash at the end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. There has been so much upheaval in this volume of X-men Supreme and I have much more to explore. And it begins with this very important issue. The aftermath of one event is usually the prelude to another and this issue is no exception.

X-men Supreme Issue 89: Disheartening Discord

The end of X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear is in sight. I have a strong vision for the future of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series and the road to realizing that vision begins here. I would love to share that vision with as many people as possible, but that has been difficult. There has still been a distinct absence of reviews and feedback on the X-men Supreme website and on Fanfiction.net where I also post my work. I really mean it when I say that reviews and feedback go a long ways towards helping me make X-men Supreme as awesome as it deserves to be. So please take the time to either post your comments in the issue or contact me directly. I'm always happy to chat about X-men Supreme or X-men in general. Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

It's a time to give thanks, but not in this world of X-men Supreme. The Cambrian has dealt some serious damage to this fanfiction series. Every corner of the world felt its assualt. And every corner of the world will now deal with the effects. Some are already dealing with it and the X-men once again find themselves on the front lines. The X-men's big 50th anniversary celebration has passed both in the comics and in the world of X-men Supreme. Now it's time to shift the focus to the future and in this fanfiction series, that future is becoming increasingly dangerous.

The defeat of the Cambrian now opens the door to a whole new host of challenges. Before the Cambrian even attacked, the X-men Supreme fanfiction series was going through some big transitions. President Robert Kelly and General Nathan Grimshaw had started a bold initiative to deal with mutants. General Grimshaw even invited Charles Xavier to be part of that process. He gave Xavier and his X-men a chance to prove themselves. Now it seems they have failed the test. After the attack by the Cambrian, there isn't much room to be reasonable. This will create a dangerous environment that will set the stage for some significant changes in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series.

But before those changes can manifest, the dust from the Cambrian attack needs to settle. There's a big mess, both literally and figuratively, to clean up. Spirits have been broken, hearts have been hardened, and relationships have been strained. In the next issue of X-men Supreme, the biggest challenge the X-men and everyone around them must face is just processing what just happened and how they're going to deal with it. Some will use it as a means to gain strength. Others will use it make hard decisions. And the decision made will have long-lasting implications. I've prepared a brief preview of this final issue here and a more extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

Also, I did another quick update to the pics section, if for no other reason than to offer a holiday bonus for all those celebrating Thanksgiving. It is getting to be that time of year again and I want to be generous with X-men Supreme. Please remember that I'm always open to posting submitted artwork. Please contact me if you're interested. Until then, enjoy this latest update to the X-women section.

It feels good to finish another big arc for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I look forward to shifting the pace and the tone of X-men Supreme as X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear approaches its conclusion. However, I have not gotten as much feedback on this arc as I had hoped. I really mean it when I say I want to make the X-men Supreme fanfiction series as awesome as it can possibly be. And I can't do that without feedback and criticism. Please take the time to post comments in any issue or contact me directly and I'll be happy to discuss this or anything X-men related. I am very good at responding to every message and I always appreciate the support of my readers. I hope that support continues. Again, happy Thanksgiving everybody! Take care and best wishes. Excelsior.

It's finally here! The last issue of one of the biggest arcs to date in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series has arrived. Ever since it began, I've been stating and re-stating how big this arc is in terms of the big picture in X-men Supreme. And at the end of this new issue, everyone will see why. I know it's a little late since Marvel has already finished their X-men 50th anniversary event in X-men Battle of the Atom. I wish X-men Supreme could have finished alongside this event, but sometimes it just doesn't work out that way. My goal with this fanfiction series is to tell the best possible stories with X-men. And with almost 100 issues to date, I like to think I've done plenty to achieve that goal. Now I'm hoping to add to X-men Supreme's legacy with the conclusion of the Cambrian arc.

The X-men are going up against a true force of nature. The Cambrian is unlike anything they have ever faced before. It's even more menacing than the Phoenix Force. This thing doesn't just affect one person. It affects the entire mutant race and all life on Earth. It literally wants to reshape the entire biosphere of a planet and anything that gets in its way will be doomed to extinction. In the previous issue, the X-men fought hard and even against some of their own friends who had succumbed to the Cambrian's influence to reach its core. Now that they've made it, they must deliver the final blow. However, any victory at this point is going to come at a price and that price will have significant costs for the entire X-men Supreme fanfiction series.

Now it's all up to Professor Charles Xavier and Jean Grey to deliver this final blow. And they have to do so knowing that any pain they inflict upon the Cambrian will be felt by every mutant it has under its influence, including the man who provoked this creature, Magneto. In addition, they also have to be mindful of President Kelly and General Grimshow, who both want to blow the Cambrian up and everyone with it. Time has almost run out. The X-men need to succeed or all life on Earth is doomed. It's one of the most epic struggles in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series to date and I'm proud to finally finish it to commemorate the X-men's 50th anniversary.

X-men Supreme Issue 88: Cambrian Explosion Part 5

And since the end of this event is such a big moment for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, I think it's fitting and perfectly timed that I add in another update for the pics section. My good friend, Brian Brinlee, has submitted another commission that captures a very memorable moment between Deadpool and Wolverine in X-men Supreme Issue 37: Deadpool Part 2. As always, I deeply appreciate Mr. Brinlee's contributions and anyone out there who wishes to submit artwork, please contact me and I'll be happy to post it as well.

When I first came up with the idea for the Cambrian, I always intended for it to be a major turning point for X-men Supreme. The nature of that turning point has changed a number of times as the story has unfolded, but now that it's set, it will set the stage for how X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear will play out. Throughout the history of X-men, the team has undergone numerous upheavals and shake-ups. I have every intention of doing the same thing with X-men Supreme. And as always, it can only be as awesome as the help I receive from people who take the time to review. I noticed that not many people have been leaving comments on this website lately. If there is a reason for that, I would love to know why. So please take the time to post your review of X-men Supreme. Post your feedback in the issue or contact me directly and I'll be happy to discuss this or anything X-men related. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

There comes a point in every story where a few fateful decision mean the difference between salvation and destruction. And the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is about to reach that point in the final issue of the Cambrian arc. Since this is X-men Supreme's 50th anniversary event for the X-men, I have every intention of making it as big a game-changer as X-men Battle of the Atom, if not more so. This arc has touched every corner of the planet in X-men Supreme. Every human and mutant has been affected in some form or another and when the dust settles, nothing will be the same. I know Marvel Comics says that a lot with their events, but I really do mean it when I say that X-men Supreme will be a different world when the Cambrian Explosion arc ends.

In X-men Battle of the Atom, conflict consumed the X-men to a point where parts of the team were shaken to their core. I want to capture those same elements here in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. So far, the one character who has been affected most is Magneto. He may have unleashed the Cambrian, but he did so with good intentions. He believed that the mutant race was too vulnerable. Not long ago, his own home was attacked and his children wounded by a secret plot by General Grimshaw and Captain Jack Freeman. He had no idea what he was dealing with and he is now literally at the center of the Cambrian. For better or for worse, Magneto has driven most of the major changes in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series and expect this arc to be the biggest to date.

In addition to Magneto, there have been some distressing developments within the X-men, namely with Professor Charles Xavier. Once again, he has taken it upon himself to stop his old friend. Yet he's doing so while not in peak condition. His health has once again started to affect him and now in X-men Supreme's darkest hour, he has to find the strength to stop Magneto. While Xavier may be dead in the comics, he's still the visionary behind the X-men and that vision will be at a crossroads with this arc. The end of one era for the world of X-men Supreme is almost over and another is prepared to begin. I've once again prepared a brief preview of this final issue here and a more extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

With many big changes on the horizon for both Marvel Comics and the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, it's an exciting time for X-men. After 50 years of epic stories, there are many more left to tell and I hope to tell plenty with X-men Supreme. I have every intention of making these stories as awesome as they can possibly be. For that reason, it's very important that I get as much feedback as possible. I know I say this every week, but I really do mean it when I say I listen closely to any and all feedback that I get. So if ever you have any questions or comments about X-men Supreme or X-men in general, please contact me at any time and I will respond. Until then, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

Winter is in the air. It's getting colder outsides, the trees are almost bare, and the holidays are just around the corner. It's a fitting time for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series to reach its darkest hour. The X-men are up against a primal force of nature in the Cambrian and they're running out of time to stop it. There have been many instances throughout this fanfiction series when time has worked against the X-men. They had to work fast to stop the Phoenix Force or Magneto when he threatened to destroy the whole world with an asteroid. But this threat is unique in that it directly affects the core being of every human and mutant on the planet. And that's what the X-men will be up against in the penultimate issue of the Cambrian Explosion.

I know the X-men's 50th anniversary has already passed. Marvel recently concluded their 10-part series, X-men Battle of the Atom, and have moved onto the aftermath. I wish X-men Supreme could have coincided with this celebration, but it was just not possible to line up the progress of this fanfiction series with Marvel's events. But even though the time has passed, I still want to treat Cambrian Explosion as the unofficial X-men 50th anniversary event. For everything I've done with the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, I think it's important to acknowledge this milestone for X-men. There have been a great many stories throughout the X-men that have helped inspire X-men Supreme. And I hope we have another 50 years of stories to look forward to.

But for now, the horrors of the Cambrian Explosion will be the biggest challenge facing the X-men here in X-men Supreme. Even without the X-men's 50th anniversary going on, it's a very important story in the context of this fanfiction series. It will affect every aspect of the X-men's struggle. Every character will be touched in some ways, but some will be more deeply effected than others. In this penultimate issue, those characters will be revealed. Signs of future conflicts will be shown, albeit in the most subtle way possible. I try to make ever word count in writing X-men Supreme and this arc is no exception. So with only two issues left, I hope plenty of readers join X-men Supreme in sharing the X-men's darkest hour.

X-men Supreme Issue 87: Cambrian Explosion Part 4

And in the spirit of this being the X-men's darkest hour, I thought it would be a good time to squeeze in a few more updates to the pics section for the X-men Supreme website. I know I've been focusing a lot on some of the individual X-women lately, but rest assured I haven't forgotten about the couples section. So I added a series of new pics for the three main couples I have, which is Wolverine/Storm, Wolverine/Jean, and Cyclops/Jean. And if anyone has any pics they would like to submit to these or any other sections, please contact me and we'll discuss the details.

While this may be a grim time for the X-men in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, it's never a grim time for readers to show their support. There hasn't been as much feedback as usual for X-men Supreme. I understand that it gets harder as the holidays draw near. But I hope everyone who supports this fanfiction series will take the time to provide feedback during this important transition period in the ongoing saga that is X-men Supreme. I'm always open to receiving feedback directly or in the form of comments posted directly in the issue. I take all feedback very seriously and I'm always willing to chat X-men. I'm even willing to drop extra hints to those who are truly curious about the future of this fanfiction series. So please continue to support the X-men Supreme fanfiction series as it moves forward. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

November 1st, 2013

Halloween may be over, but the horror hasn't ended in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. The world of X-men Supreme has been overrun by the Cambrian. Mutants all over the world are turning into hulking, mindless zombies who have only one purpose and that's to evolve. And their evolution means the utter extinction of the human race. Most of the Brotherhood of Mutants and even some X-men have already fallen under the influence of the Cambrian. Other mutant groups such as the Morlocks have also fallen prey to this ancient force of nature. Throughout this fanfiction series, the X-men have had to overcome many powerful forces but none quite like this. Now in their darkest hour, they must have a plan.

In many ways, the Cambrian Explosion has been a convergence of numerous plots that have been unfolding throughout X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear. It began with President Kelly seeking a means of containing Magneto and the mutant nation of Genosha. It led General Nathan Grimshaw to show just how vulnerable Magneto was on his mutant dominated island when he sent his top soldier, Captain Jack Freeman, to infiltrate Genosha. This set into motion the events that led to the the Cambrian Explosion and now the whole world has to deal with the consequences. Make no mistake. No mutant or human is going to come out of this unaffected. But they have to survive it first.

I know I've been treating this arc as my way of celebrating the X-men's 50th anniversary and I still see it as such. But beyond that, this is also a significant turning point for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. In the same way Marvel is setting the stage for a major shift in the comics with X-men Battle of the Atom, I am hoping to do the same with X-men Supreme. Many characters will undergo a significant change. Relationships will be affected and trust will be broken. And the next issue of the Cambrian Explosion will set the tone for the final showdown. I've offered a brief hint of just how big that showdown will be in a brief preview that I've prepared on this site and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

These are dark and exciting times for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. However, I've noticed a distinct lack of reviews on this site lately. I would like to change that. So please, I urge everyone who follows this fanfiction series to take the time to post reviews in each issue or send feedback to me directly. Either post it in the issues or contact me directly. Either is fine. I'm now willing to actually provide additional content and previews for those who review. I want to encourage as much feedback as possible so that I can make X-men Supreme the best fanfiction series it can be. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

Throughout the history of X-men and Marvel Comics, the conflicts that do the most damage aren't always the conflicts that have the greatest impact. The X-men have experienced more than their share of destruction throughout their 50-year history. The X-men Supreme fanfiction series has had them experience plenty of destruction as well. But it's the impact on the characters themselves that make this conflicts resonate. Stories like the Phoenix Saga, Overlord, and Revenge of Weapon X involved many personal elements for many characters. For an event worthy of the X-men's 50th anniversary, the potential for destruction and impact must be fitting.

I feel like I have done just that with X-men Supreme's biggest event to date, the Cambrian Explosion. In the span of only two issues, this event has had a number of events converge from various segments of this fanfiction series. Leading this convergence is Magneto, whose vision has changed very little since the beginning of X-men Supreme. While his methods have evolved, his goal has remained the same. He seeks to ensure the survival and dominance of the mutant race. He believed that the Cambrian had the power to do that. But in his rush to tap that power before humanity attacked again, he unleashed it on the world. Now every human and mutant in the world of X-men Supreme is about to be affected.

This landmark event for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is about to reach its darkest hour. The X-men didn't just fail to stop Magneto from unleashing the Cambrian. Some of their own teammates consumed by its influence. Their only option now is to retreat. But they can't hide forever. The Cambrian has the power to reach every corner of the planet. The X-men and even the Brotherhood need to find a way to stop it or the destruction to humans and mutants alike will be immeasurable. And in this bleak issue of X-men Supreme, that destruction has already begun.

X-men Supreme Issue 86: Cambrian Explosion Part 3

The darkest hour for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series has arrived and at the same time Marvel is celebrating the X-men's 50th anniversary. These dire times will set the tone for how X-men Supreme will evolve. The stories that follow the Cambrian Explosion will deal with both the short-term and long-term consequences of what happens in this event. For that reason, it's very important that people take the time to leave a review. Feedback is very important to the health of X-men Supreme. If I'm doing something wrong, please tell me. Either post your comments directly in the issue or contact me directly. Either way is fine. Thank you all very much for helping me celebrate 50 years of X-men. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

A powerful force has been unleashed within the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Magneto, in his effort to ensure the superiority of mutants for future generations, has once again tampered with powers that he does not fully understand. Now he has awakened the Cambrian from its 500 million year slumber and the entire world is at risk. It’s the kind of threat that promises to do much more than destroy and already vulnerable world. It has the potential to change the nature of the X-men’s struggle and the very essence of Professor Charles Xavier’s dream.

Right now, Marvel Comics is in the process of shaking up the status quo in X-men with its Battle of the Atom event. This event is meant to both celebrate the X-men’s 50th anniversary while crafting an event that will have far-reaching ramifications for the future of the team. While Marvel is getting multiple eras of X-men and multiple timelines involved, the event in X-men Supreme will take place completely in the present. There’s no need for something like the Cambrian to affect different timelines. What it does in this fanfiction series will have a profound impact on the past, present, and future of the X-men.

So far, the Cambrian has taken over Magneto and many other mutants. It has also turned Genosha into a host of sorts, using it as a means to spread its influence to every mutant on the planet. There’s nowhere in the world that humans and mutants can hide from this thing. The X-men have already found that out the hard way and many other mutants are about to find that out as well. For the X-men’s 50th anniversary, I’m trying to get as many characters involved as possible with this event. It’s only fitting for this fanfiction series and the X-men as a whole. I hope readers agree and I’ve prepared a brief preview on this site and an extended preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

In addition, I also have another update for the pics section. My good friend, Brian Brinlee, has submitted another wonderful piece to the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. This one takes place in X-men Supreme Issue 36: Deadpool Part 1 and depicts a very memorable moment between Deadpool and Nightcrawler's girlfriend, Amanda Sefton. As always, I sincerely thank Mr. Brinlee for his efforts. This new piece along with plenty of other moments from the X-men Supreme fanfiction series can be viewed in the pic section.

Celebrating the X-men’s 50th anniversary is a daunting challenge and I’m sure the people at Marvel felt the same way. With the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, I try to share that feeling. I still treat X-men Supreme as if it were something Marvel has commissioned. As such, I try to maintain a high standard for the stories and the characters that beloved by so many. But I can only maintain that standard if people are generous enough to provide feedback to let me know I’m doing this right. So please take the time to contact me and tell me what you think about X-men Supreme. I’m always willing to listen and chat. Thank you very much to everyone who has supported this fanfiction series. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

There have been many iconic moments in the history of X-men and I’ve tried to create similar moments in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. There have been epic battles against the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, clashes with Mr. Sinister, dramatic revelations about the past, and cosmic struggles against the Phoenix Force. In creating a story to celebrate the X-men’s 50th anniversary, I’m hoping to create similar moments with The Cambrian Explosion. I understand that X-men Supreme is not on the same level as the comics, but I want to treat it as such and I hope it makes for the best story possible.

Magneto has many flaws and some of those flaws are why he’s such a dangerous villain to the X-men. He always things big and never does anything halfway. In X-men Supreme, he has already created his own country for mutants and nearly destroyed the whole planet with an asteroid. His next plan is even bigger. Throughout this fanfiction series, he has sought what he hopes to be the final blow of sorts to human dominance. He believes he has found such power in an ancient entity known as the Cambrian. The nature of this entity and the power it possesses are still a mystery. Now this mystery is about to be revealed in a big way.

There have been many powerful forces in this fanfiction series thus far. But for this one, I didn’t want to take something directly from the comics. I want to try to create something unique that can’t be found anywhere else except X-men Supreme. The threat posed by the Cambrian will get so many characters involved, including a few who haven’t been seen in a while like Colossus. It will have a major impact on the future of this fanfiction series, both for the characters and the world itself. And the scale of that impact will only begin to emerge in this destructive issue of X-men Supreme.

X-men Supreme Issue 85: Cambrian Explosion Part 2

A great many stories will spin out of the events of this arc. The X-men Supreme fanfiction series still has many events to come and I look forward to developing these events. As I do so, it’s always important that I continue to receive feedback. I really do take it seriously when someone offers criticism or suggestions for this fanfiction series. I hope as many people as possible take the time to post their comments directly in this issue or contact me directly to submit their feedback. I’m always happy to chat X-men and Marvel Comics so please don’t hesitate to do so. Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

The X-men have faced some pretty major threats in their 50-year history. They’ve faced more than their share of threats in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series as well. But the enemies they deal with are often unique. It isn’t just human bigotry, mutant tyrants, mad geneticists, or mutant-hunting robots. Sometimes, the X-men have to go up against the very forces of nature. This has already manifested in X-men Supreme. During the Phoenix Saga, the X-men had to go up against the very forces of creation in dealing with the Phoenix Force. Now in the biggest event to date for the X-men Supreme fanficition series, they’ll have to deal with the forces of evolution.

The X-men and the very concept of mutants has always been influenced by evolution. It’s a concept that most people only have a marginal understanding about. Some fear it the same way they fear change. X-men Supreme has seen the mutant conflict evolve. Now Magneto is seeking to take that evolution to an extreme and dangerous level that will affect every human and mutant on the planet. For the X-men’s big 50th anniversary event, I wanted a unique yet powerful threat and that threat will manifest as the Cambrian Explosion arc continues to unfold.

When I started thinking about how I was going to approach the X-men’s 50th event, I was tempted to simply utilize another famous story from the X-men mythos and give it and X-men Supreme twist. Instead, I hope to do something unique with the Cambrian Explosion. Throughout the history of the X-men comics, Magneto has tampered with powerful forces that he neither fully understands nor can hope to control. For this arc, he is going to tap into a powerful that he believes will ensure mutant dominance. That power will bring about significant changes and consequences to the X-men Supreme fanfiction series and very soon, the X-men will have an idea of just what they’re up against. As such, I’ve prepared a brief preview here to show what they’re in for and a more extensive preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

And in the spirit of X-men Supreme's big event, I also have another update to the pics section. It's only fitting that I add in a few extras during the X-men's 50th anniversary. I like to think of it as variant covers. This time, I've added in some updates for Kitty Pryde and Phoenix. And please remember that I'm always open to anyone who wishes to submit or commission additional pics.

Marvel comics has promised sweeping changes for its X-men Battle of the Atom event. It’s only fitting that I offer the same for the Cambrian Explosion. The very concept of evolution requires change, selection, and extinction. It’s a concept that is frequently reflected in X-men and will certainly be reflected in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I will work hard to ensure that this event is worthy of the X-men’s 50th anniversary milestone. And in order to do that, every bit of feedback and support helps. So please remember to voice your support for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series by either posting a review of each issue or contacting me directly. I’m always open to chat about my work or X-men in general. Thanks to all those who have been supporting X-men Supreme thus far and I hope it continues as this fanfiction series continues to unfold. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

It has all been building towards this. The X-men Supreme fanfiction series is entering one of its biggest events to date and just in time for the X-men’s 50th anniversary. X-men Supreme has taken many twists and turns since it began. It has also gone through some major upheavals with events like the Phoenix Saga, Overlord, and the election of President Robert Kelly. Now it is set to undergo an upheaval like no other. It’s a story that I hope will be a worthy celebration of the X-men’s 50th anniversary and make Stan Lee and Jack Kirby proud of what they have created.

A great many of the X-men’s biggest challenges have come from Magneto. Despite his long-standing allegiance with the X-men in the recent comics, he is still considered the X-men’s greatest adversary. No matter what happens over the course of the X-men, he has always made it clear that he’s willing to go to great lengths to protect the mutant race and ensure their dominance in the future. This is what has put him at odds with Professor Charles Xavier in nearly every medium of X-men and once again, this division will play out in X-men Supreme through this new arc, Cambrian.

Magneto and his mutant nation, Genosha, has been vulnerable lately. The election of Robert Kelly and the recent infiltration of his citadel by Captain Jack Freeman has forced him to step up his plans. This is what led him to send the Brotherhood of Mutants on a daring mission to steal a rare isotope from Worthington Industries. And despite the capture and arrest of Toad, he now has the final ingredient he needs to see his plan through. The details of that plan have been a mystery in X-men Supreme, but in this saga they’ll be revealed in a big way. And the ramifications of such a plan will have far-reaching consequences for the near and far future of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series.

X-men Supreme Issue 84: Cambrian Explosion Part 1

In addition, I wanted to add a little extra bonus for the beginning of this big event for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series so I did a quick update to the pics section. Specifically, I added a new batch of pictures in the sex X-ladies section for Jean Grey, Emma Frost, and Rogue. Given the role Rogue played in the previous arc, I think it's only fitting.

Like the X-men comics, I want X-men Supreme to have its share of big events. But unlike the X-men comics, I don’t want to overwhelm people with events. I understand that big events can become tiresome at times. This is one event where I feel like the time is right and it doesn’t need to be forced just because it’s the X-men’s 50th anniversary. I also hope it will reward longtime readers with a big payoff in terms of story. While I’m always looking to attract new readers to this fanfiction series, I am very appreciative of those who have stuck with this fanfiction series from the beginning. And for both new and old readers, it’s very important that you take the time to provide feedback for X-men Supreme. Either post it directly in the issue or contact me directly. I’m okay with either. Thank you all for helping to make the X-men Supreme fanfiction series so epic and I hope I continue to have that support as X-men Supreme continues to unfold. Until next time, take care and best wishes!

It's a very special time for X-men. Marvel is celebrating the X-men's 50th anniversary with X-men Battle of the Atom, which promises to be a significant turning point for the series. As such, it's only fitting that I prepare a similar event for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I've already had some pretty significant events throughout the course of X-men Supreme. Events like Overlord, the Phoenix Saga, and Uprising were all significant moments that had a profound impact on the course of X-men Supreme. Well now another big event is set to begin and make no mistake, it'll have a profound impact on the immediate and distant future of this fanfiction series. And I call this event Cambrian.

If the name of the event sounds unfamiliar, it should. This is not an event that I've derived from a major X-men story in the comics. It isn't a remake or retelling of a classic X-men story. This is an event that can't be found anywhere else besides X-men Supreme. That in and of itself makes it both special and ambitious. One of the challenges I've had with X-men Supreme is balancing out novel concepts with more familiar stories that X-men fans know and love. Stories like Overlord and the Phoenix Saga were both derived from existing X-men stories. But this is one story that I hope will help set the X-men Supreme fanfiction series apart from the comics, cartoons, and movies. Now there will always be a place for X-men stories derived from the classic comics, but this event will be something unique that I hope will be worthy of the X-men's 50th anniversary.

Like so many other major events throughout the history of the X-men, Cambrian is directly the result of a bold plan by Magneto. He has kept a fairly low profile since the events of Kings and Tyrants. He is still the undisputed leader of Genosha and a major concern for every country in the world. But he has never stopped plotting. He has always had plans for the mutant race, but the events of Issue 75: Renegade changed the stakes. In that issue, Captain Jack Freeman attacked his Citadel on Genosha and stole Magneto's helmet. His family, his home, and his country were suddenly vulnerable. Now he is willing to take a huge risk to protect the future of the mutant race. The consequences of that risk will have global implications and the world of X-men Supreme will never be the same. And it all begins in a week! I've prepared a brief preview here and a more detailed preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

This is a very important event for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. As X-men Supreme has grown, I've taken it in many different directions. I still treat it as though Marvel is looking over my shoulder at every turn and it is my sincere hope that I can create a series that X-men fans of all kinds can view on the same level as the comics or cartoons. To maintain that quality, it's very important that people take the time to review my work and post feedback. Please know that I will always respond to those who contact me. I want to make X-men Supreme the best fanfiction series it can be. And for the X-men's 50th anniversary, I can accept nothing less than awesome. Until next time everybody, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

For X-men fans still excited about the recent events in X-men Battle of the Atom, I hope the X-men Supreme fanfiction series can help add to that excitement. The foundations of the Marvel universe are undergoing some major upheavals in the X-men comics. Some equally big upheavals are set to transpire in X-men Supreme. While this fanfiction series won’t utilize time travel, the threat that’s about to emerge promises to be every bit as devastating to the X-men, the entire mutant race, and the world. The pieces are falling into place, but first the X-men must deal with a crisis in Houston involving Rogue and the Brotherhood of Mutants.

Of all the X-men characters I’ve written in X-men Supreme, Rogue has always generated a very diverse response. Some of it has been positive. Some of it has been negative. I’ve noticed in reading her stories in the comics how she has gone through many changes and taken on many different roles. Sometimes I get the sense that fans and writers aren’t sure what to do with her. So in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, I’ve tried to streamline her story. She has always been defined by the effect her powers have over her. Her inability to touch is what made her vulnerable. In many ways, she symbolizes the mutants in X-men who struggle to live their lives despite the limitations of their powers. Losing the ability to touch has recently taken a toll on Rogue. Throughout X-men Supreme, I’ve shown her dealing with it in different ways. Now in this current arc, it has become too much for her.

Rogue has now made herself even more vulnerable in the Test Subject arc. In a desperate attempt to control her powers, she seeks help from former X-men, Angel, and willingly participates in a dangerous experiment. But neither she nor anyone else in the X-men could have predicted that the Brotherhood of Mutants would attack Worthington Industries in the middle of the experiment. Now Rogue’s powers have become unstable and the Brotherhood of Mutants are on the verge of stealing the last remaining ingredient Magneto needs to make his next move. What Magneto does will be the biggest event to date for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. But first, the X-men have to save their friend. It’s a prelude to an event that I hope will make a nice complement to X-men: Battle of the Atom and one I hope Rogue fans will appreciate.

X-men Supreme Issue 83: Text Subject Part 2

It’s an exciting time for X-men fans and volatile time for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. The X-men are going through many upheavals as they celebrate their 50th anniversary. It is amazing to think that the X-men have been around for half-a-century and come so far in that time. I hope to contribute to that epic with X-men Supreme and as always, I strongly encourage everyone to take the time to provide feedback. I especially want to hear from Rogue fans this time. If I did something wrong in this arc, please let me know. Either contact me directly or place your feedback directly in the issue. Every bit of feedback helps make the X-men Supreme fanfiction series better. I do take criticism to heart so please be mindful. As always, I deeply appreciate all those who have supported this fanfiction series and I hope it continues. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

The X-men Supreme fanfiction series is back on schedule. Labor Day has passed, summer has almost ended, and school has begun for many. But this time of year is special for X-men fans. Fifty years ago in September 1963, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created the first issue of Uncanny X-men. This was the comic that started everything. The seeds of the X-men began and have evolved in many ways over the past 50 years. Marvel Comics has already prepared a big event to celebrate this milestone with X-men Battle of the Atom. I hope to do the same with the X-men Supreme fanfiction series.

Right now, X-men Supreme is in the middle of an important arc. In a desperate bid to regain control of her powers, she sought the ability to touch again. The recent addition of Psylocke and her attraction to Rogue's longtime crush, Gambit, has added urgency to her pursuit. Rogue subjected herself to a bold experiment at Worthington Industries, despite the reluctance of Angel and his fellow X-men. This experiment promised to turn down the intensity of her mutation. However, it ended up doing the exact opposite. Now Rogue's powers are out of control and she's a danger to herself and anyone around her.

But it wasn't just the experiment that put Rogue in her current predicament. As the experiment unfolded, the Brotherhood of Mutants broke into Worthington Industries. This bold move is part of a major plan that Magneto has been working on for quite some time. More than any other villain, Magneto has shaped the course of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. And he's about to do it again in a big way. What he will do and what the X-men will have to deal with is going to create one of the biggest events in the history of this fanfiction series. What Magneto does here will have far reaching impacts for the future of X-men Supreme. To get a brief glimpse of what's in store for the world of X-men Supreme, I have prepared a brief preview here and a more detailed preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

Make no mistake, this event that Magneto instigates will be a major turning point for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I feel it is an appropriate event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of X-men. Marvel Comics is making a big deal out of Battle of the Atom and I will certainly be making a big deal about this big event. Look for it to encompass every aspect of X-men in X-men Supreme in the same way that X-men Battle of the Atom will impact nearly all the X-men comics from Marvel. It's a major milestone for the comics and this fanfiction series so it's very important that I continue to get feedback from readers. That feedback has fallen flat lately. I would like it to increase for this upcoming event. Please feel free to contact me at any time to discuss X-men Supreme or X-men in general. Until then, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

I know I'm early with my update for X-men Supreme this week, but I felt I was overdue for something like this. Some recent changes to my travel plans require that I tweak my update schedule for this fanfiction series in order to maintain my committment to updating X-men Supreme on a regular, predictable basis. So I've worked overtime to make sure the latest issue of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is ready a few days early this time. And I'm happy to say that I've succeeded and I hope some treat it as a pleasent surprise.

It's a time of emotional upheavals and volatile circumstances in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Psylocke has joined the X-men, Magneto is making his move, and Rogue is going through some personal issues. The X-men are going through another adjustment period and so are their allies and enemies. This has led to Rogue making a fateful decision that promises to have significant implications for her and mutants everywhere in the world of X-men Supreme. Controlling mutant powers is the cornerstone of the conflict between humans and mutants. It is also the guiding force behind General Grimshaw's initiative with the Mutant Security Agency. In this new arc, control and chaos will clash. And as is often the case, Magneto will look to exploit it. With that in mind, I'm proud to give the wonderful readers an early release of this latest issue of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series.

X-men Supreme Issue 82: Test Subject Part 1

In addition, I have another quick update to the pics section. I know I already added Psylocke to the X-ladies section, but I actually had more pics that I wanted to add with that update. However, I didn't have time and had to cut the update short. I managed to add more this time around. I'm trying to do a better job of keeping up with the pics section, especially since Psylocke is going to play such a major role in the future of X-men Supreme. Others will come as well, but all in due time. Enjoy!

Psylocke Pics

Emotions are running high in X-men Supreme and the stakes are getting higher. I don't want to give too much away, but a big event is on the horizon that I hope to get to in time for the X-men's upcoming 50th anniversary. The recent developments within the X-men and with Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants are paving the way for a very important moment in the history of this fanfiction series. This issue will set into motion the events that lead to this moment. So it's very important that readers take the time to provide feedback for this and every issue of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Please post your comments in the issue or contact me directly. Either way is fine as long as you take the time to review. As always, I deeply appreciate those who have supported this fanfiction series. I hope it continues. Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

X-men has explored many themes over the years and the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is no different. There are themes of civil rights, social inequity, corruption, and controlling power. Throughout X-men Supreme, I've tried to touch on each one of them. But the concept of controlling power has come up multiple times. It was a major issue when Rogue first joined the X-men, it led to devastating personal consequences when Proteus lost control of his reality warping powers, and was a major driving force when Jean Grey was corrupted by the Phoenix Force. Controlling mutant powers has been a plot that the X-men comics have explored in many forms and in the next arc of X-men Supreme, the lengths some go to in order to obtain that control will be the focal point.

Of all the characters for whom controlling power has most agonizing, Rogue has struggled the most. While Cyclops and Jean Grey are able to manage the powers, Rogue is still trapped in her own body, unable to touch anyone without hurting them. For a while, she could manage her powers with a special inhibiting collar. But after a fateful encounter with Sinister, her powers changed in a way that made them impossible to turn off. This has led her to become isolated at times, which led her to reject romantic advances from Gambit despite clearly having feelings for him. But recent developments in the the Lotus and the Warriorarc have given her more incentive to control her powers once more.

This new arc in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series will be short, but the impact it will have on Rogue will be profound. I call this arc Test Subject. It has finally gotten to a point where Rogue can't stand her powers anymore. Now she's willing to take a chance at regaining control of her powers and she has enlisted the help of former X-man, Angel, for assistance. Angel left the X-men at the end of X-men Supreme Volume 3: Ashes of Hope, but he has been busy and what he's working on has major implications for Rogue and mutants everywhere in X-men Supreme. But his work is dangerous and there will be forces he can't control working against him. This is one arc you won't want to miss if you're a Rogue fan and as always, I have prepared a brief preview here and a more detailed preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

In addition, the recent introduction of Psylocke has opened the door to yet another expansion of the X-ladies section. For quite a while now, I've been gathering pictures of Psylocke and plenty of other X-women that I have yet to introduce in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Now that she has joined X-men Supreme, I'm ready to add her to the pics section. She's a fan favorite X-woman and there's no denying her sex appeal. So I'm proud to add her to both the story of X-men Supreme and the pics section. Enjoy!

Psylocke Pics

So far, X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear has covered many diverse themes that are typical of the X-men. I have every intention of exploring more as this fanfiction series unfolds. The challenge will be trying to cover as much as possible because I know that X-men fans have lofty expectations and I have every intention of meeting them. As such, it's very important that I continue to get feedback for my work on this fanfiction series. If ever you want to discuss X-men Supreme or X-men in general, feel free to contact me at any time. I'm always willing to listen. Thank you all very much for your continued support. Until next time, take care and best wishes. Excelsior!

The next big challenge for the X-men is set to unfold in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. The impact of the events of the Lotus and the Warrior will be felt, but a much bigger threat is looming just over the horizon. Right now, Marvel is ramping up for their big 50th anniversary for the X-men with their Battle of the Atom event. I have a little event coming up as well that I'm very excited about. It will be an event that threatens to consume the entire world of X-men Supreme. I can't divulge any details just yet, but I will say that it will have serious long-term ramifications for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series and set the stage for a very significant shift.

For now, the X-men have enough on their plate. The Lotus and the Warrior didn't just take Wolverine on a trip down memory lane in Japan. It also brought a brand new member to the X-men. Psylocke has a lot of catching up to do and expect her to get tested very early. Her presence will also lead to some new drama between Gambit and Rogue, two characters who have shared more than just cigarettes since they joined the X-men. Some of the best X-men stories ever written involve heavy character drama and I want to explore that aspect in X-men Supreme. Expect it to be a major issue in the immediate future and the seeds will be sewn in this issue. I hope you all enjoy it!

X-men Supreme Issue 81: Political Incorrectness

It's an exciting time for all things X-men. Fifty years of stories have created an amazing mythos for Marvel comics. I like to think I've made a small contribution to that story with the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I know that it will never be on the same level as the stories in Marvel Comics, but I want to treat it as something special that will resonate with X-men fans of all kinds. I want to celebrate the 50th anniversary of X-men as well. From Stan Lee to Chris Claremont, it's a milestone that's worth celebrating. As such, it's all the more important that people take time to read and review my work. I'm always open to chat. Feel free to contact me at any time or post your feedback directly in the issue. Thank you all very much to everyone who has supported the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

Have X-men fans had enough Wolverine yet? Well, I certainly hope not because he's going to continue playing a major role in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. With the end of the Lotus and the Warrior arc, he and the X-men will have a new set of challenges to face and a new teammate. Now that the summer movie season is over and the next big Marvel movie won't be released until Thor comes out in November, I'm going to do my best to tide fans over with X-men Supreme. I felt like taking Wolverine and the X-men to Japan for an arc was appropriate for the overall synergy of X-men Supreme and the X-men mythos as a whole. But now I'm ready to take them in a different direction.

While the Lotus and the Warrior was primarily a character-based story, there is still a bigger picture in the world of X-men Supreme. X-men Supreme Volume 4: Politics of Fear set up a complicated new situation for the X-men to deal with. Robert Kelly is now President of the United States and General Grimshaw has gained a position of influence, which he intends to use to form the Mutant Security Agency. If there is an overarching theme to this volume of X-men Supreme it's how does the world deal with mutants? And more importantly, how can the X-men make sure that the chosen methods don't lead to greater conflict? It's not an easy question to answer and the comics have been dealing with this a lot lately in the pages of Uncanny X-men. Now General Grimshaw and President Kelly will have to start dealing with it and it begins in the next issue of this fanfiction series! And once again, I have prepared a brief preview here and a more detailed preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

And in addition to providing a nice tie-in to the Wolverine movie, the Lotus and the Warrior arc also introduced Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock to the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. And after a rather traumatic body-swapping experience, she is now the X-men's latest addition. I'm very excited to have her with the team. She has always been one of my personal favorites and she has definitely grown a great deal in recent years, especially with her role in the pages of Uncanny X-Force. Now she'll be establishing herself in X-men Supreme and I look forward to writing her. And now that the Lotus and the Warrior arc has concluded, I can proceed with posting her bio. It should answer a few questions about her background and history in X-men Supreme. I did throw in some changes and some details that probably won't make it into this fanfiction series until later, but it should give fans of Psylocke plenty to enjoy. And while she may not show up for a while, I also did a bio entry for Lady Deathstrike. These two women have left a big mark on X-men and I'm proud to bring them into the X-men Supreme fanfiction series.

Psylocke Bio

Deathstrike Bio

And for all those fans of the pics section, I will eventually add one for Psylocke in a future update. For now, she has a lot to learn with the X-men and she'll be playing an important role in some big arcs coming up in the pages of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. The previous arc was a nice little departure from the big-picture aspects of X-men Supreme so that more classic X-men elements could be explored. There will always be a place for those stories in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, but at some point the X-men must figure out how they're going to fit into this new world that President Kelly and General Grimshaw are creating. And as that world unfolds, it's very important that I hear from readers and X-men fans of all types. I want to make this fanfiction series as compelling and entertaining as possible. So if ever you want to chat or comment on X-men Supreme, feel free to contact me at any time. Thanks as always to those who have and continue to support X-men Supreme. Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

A week has gone by and X-men fans have had plenty of time to indulge and digest The Wolverine movie. But if that movie did not sufficiently satisfy your appetite for X-men or Wolverine, the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is here to help fill that void. While andWolverine's adventure to Japan ended with a somewhat typical if not sub-standard Hollywood style resolution, the ending of andWolverine's ongoing Japanese mission in X-men Supreme promises to be very different. I wanted to take a different approach with The Lotus and the Warrior than The Wolverine movie. This story isn’t about Wolverine coming to terms with his mortality. This is about him confronting the painful revelations of his past and at his core, which in many ways is the core of every great Wolverine story.

So far, Wolverine has confronted a number of revelations in The Lotus and the Warrior. In addition to finding out he’s fluent in Japanese, he also discovered Yuriko Oyama, also known as Lady Deathstrike. In many incarnations of X-men, she has good reason to want to kill Wolverine. In X-men Supreme, she happens to be the half-sister of Mariko Yashida, one of Wolverine’s past love interests who, like Rose, died by his hands. But is that the only reason why she wants Wolverine dead? That’s what will be revealed in the final issue to this arc.

And unlike the movie, there are a lot more characters involved in the conflict. Wolverine isn’t just relying on his fellow X-men to help him through this struggle. Another new yet familiar character, Betsy Braddock, has become caught up in the affairs of the Yashida Clan. Having been betrayed by her own Godfather, Matsu’o Tsuryaba, she must now rely on the X-men to save her from the clutches of the Silver Samurai. What will her fate be and how will it affect Wolverine and the X-men? Find out now in this final issue of The Lotus and the Warrior!

X-men Supreme Issue 80: The Lotus and the Warrior Part 3

And seeing as how I did a major update of the Wolverine and Jean Grey X-Couples section last week, I think it's only fair that I balance it out by doing another quick pic update for the Cyclops and Jean Grey X-Couples section. I feel their relationship, which is by far the most important in the history of X-men, was one of the biggest casualties of the failure of the X-men movies. That's why I have gone to such great lengths to ensure that their relationship is deeper in X-men Supreme. And that extends to the pics section. Enjoy!

Cyclops and Jean Grey Pics

I hope that fans of Wolverine and fans of X-men will be happy with the end of this arc. I won’t pretend that the X-men Supreme fanfiction series is on the same level as a full-fledged Wolverine movie, but I want the story to carry the same weight. Because in the end, the story is the most important aspect of every X-men medium and that’s what I have always emphasized with the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. With that in mind, I strongly encourage everyone, especially Wolverine fans, to tell me what you think about this issue, this arc, and this fanfiction series as a whole. Please post your comments directly in the issue or contact me and I’ll be happy to chat. As always, I deeply appreciate those who have been following X-men Supreme since its beginning. I hope it continues as more X-men stories unfold. Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!

July 26th, 2013

It's a big day for Marvel, Wolverine, and the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. Today, Marvel Comics and X-men fans everywhere celebrate the release of The Wolverine. It's a movie that one of the most iconic stories in the history of Wolverine, namely the story told by Frank Miller and Chris Claremont about Wolverine's life in Japan, and brings it to life. However, history has shown that the X-men movies are not always good about adapting iconic X-men stories. I could create a whole new website centered completely around pointing out all the things that are wrong with the X-men movies andWolverine's characterization. But I'm not going to. Instead, I'm going to tell his story here in the pages of the X-men Supreme fanfiction series.

So far, Wolverine has already learned a number of distressing revelations in his visit to Japan with the rest of the X-men. He and the X-men were attacked immediately after they landed, but like other stories in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, his faded memories caught up with him. This time the memories were so vivid that he actually remembered that he was fluent in Japanese. It allowed him to learn that the Yashida Clan, an organization that has always had close ties to and Wolverine's through numerous incarnations of X-men, is pursuing Weapon X technology again. Their endgame isn't clear, but an encounter with the deadly Lady Deathstrike shows that this conflict has deadly implications. And unlike the X-men movies, I intend to make these resolution very satisfying.

So far, two issues of The Lotus and the Warrior arc have been released. Only one issue is left and it's only fitting that I will be releasing it in wake of the Wolverine movie. Again, this is not a coincidence. I always intended to write a story about Wolverine and Japan in the X-men Supreme fanfiction series. I felt it was fitting to tie it in with the movie. But unlike every X-men movie made to date, this arc isn't just about Wolverine. There are other stories following other X-men, including the story of Betsy Braddock, who has made her X-men Supreme debut in this arc. And after the final chapter, her life and Wolverine's life will never be the same! As always, I've prepared a preview here on this website and a more extensive preview on the X-men Supreme Official Blog.

And in the spirit of the Wolverine movie, I think it's only fitting that I throw in another update to the pics section. In the movies, one of Wolverine's most important relationships was the one he had with Jean Grey. Granted, that relationship was horribly done and mismanaged. But in X-men Supreme and in the comics, that relationship is special. As such, I've added in a few pictures to the Wolverine and Jean Grey X-Couples section. Enjoy!

Wolverine and Jean Grey Pics

There are a lot of major upheavals in store for the X-men Supreme fanfiction series, but it's rare that I can schedule those upheavals with the release of a major X-men movie. I may not be a fan of these movies, but I am a fan of telling compelling stories about these characters. Wolverine is one of the most iconic comic book characters in history for a reason and I think his story in Japan is a big part of that. I hope to do it justice with X-men Supreme. And because of that intent, it's very important that everyone take the time to provide feedback about my work with X-men Supreme thus far. If you wish to chat with me, please contact me at any time. Until next time, take care and best wishes! Excelsior!
